Lost in both league and cup today.. no surprise tho since cup opponent was 3 levels and 8Q higher..
About the league i just dont have enough luck i dont get it.. its so hard to win away matches against active managers.I was following the table of counter formations and used 451v against his 4-1-3w-2 and still lost .. quality was the same

it's not just formation it's arrows and right tactics as well, and luck, lots of luck.

I prefer my 4-1-2-1-2ND formation attack by the center, counter off, hard trackling.

Hello everyone, newish manager here

Had a decent start to the season, unbeaten in first 8 matches but have drew 4 of them. Also went out of cup first round on away goals after two draws in the tie.

I'm on level 7

Tough league opponent, mature performance, clean sheet.



My opponent had a line of five solid defenders but the boys kept the ball and contained the counterattack to make sure that almost all shots were off target. In additions, the team's fast training youngsters added a fair few skills points.

League: Buffs FC welcome 4th to Abbey Park. The opposition bring on theAssymmetric big guns in a 4-1-3-2. The boys use 4141 and open up at breakneck speed: 2 goals from Baxter (10, 30 mins) start it off, Gauld rams a FK (36 mins) and Hutton nods in a Morrison Corner (39). (Whee, I'd almost forgotten what goals from CKs were like but I suppose 1 out of 13 should go in >.< ).

In the second half Gauld was deadly from the set-piece again (59 mins). A new sub DMC (1 season wonder, I hope) came on with Mulgrew moving to MC and Henderson coming off........nada, nothing, nichts. 5-0 it finished. Hope that's not an omen for DMC

I might need to shuffle the pack on the CKs
