btw try 4-5-1V (def, both flanks, long, counter, wingers up, DMC down) or if you an attacker type: 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow diamond with attacking, mix, mix, no counter, DL-DR up, DMC down

I had one of those a few seasons ago (Season 12!). Back history: CL, oppo had just mauled me 4-1 at their place two days previously, handing me the third defeat out of 3 in Group stage. Return game, me in residence for home team, him + 4 friends making possession +1% for away. IIRC, he had first 25 minutes continuous attack, then I scored against run of play. I then looked on slack-jawed as the rest of the match unfolded...

Of course, of course, of course! The moment my team has a chance to widen the narrow gap on top of the league, they come up with a disappointing draw against a totally overmatched last-place team.

Not only do we get a draw, the other team comes close to outshooting us despite the gulf in class and a two-star player is the best man on the pitch.
