Who said mr/mrl better to have? with attacking middlefielders opponent can not apply offside trap on you. Your wingers with red arrows will turn into strikers- with blue arrows middlefielders.

Its one of the most flexible formations there are because with a few arrows you may have over 10 formation variations.

Its true it can be countered, like every other formation. Personally I get in trouble when opponents play ultra defensive like 5-4-1 or 4-5-1 flat. Butterfly formation can also counter it but for me hardest is when ultra defence is used.

ok....I don't see the point adding blue arrows on fullbacks...wing sweepers? I'm just wondering about the formation and its flexibility. I'm not trying to prove no one wrong but I love the formation myself yet I tossed it. I don't feel putting red arrows on the AMC/aml/amr will turn him into a forward, i want to play Barcelona style football but failed to do so on many different formations and tactics.

me neither till I faced that strange scout team playing 3dc - 2 mc -2 amr/aml -3 strikers...I had low quality dmr and my dml was injured so I improvised :P
