    i have never played a counter formation and i've won league cup and CL. on separate accounts, so no treble, but doubles...

    it's been the exact opposite for me. I always change my formation to a previous counter that's worked and it has been successful about 95% of the time. Granted i'm still in the early levels and this might change quickly.
