I have 0 green boosters on hand... Most likely tomorrow afternoon. But no need to hurry it up now because they will both get there very soon.

Attention will move across to L.McNamara and Mensah since they are 25 and are coming towards the end of their power training windows at the end of this season, I will see if I can get those 2 players close to 8* or should I think about stocking up on greens for next season now?

Could be worth stocking up now.

Our league match today, away in Denmark, was a very disappointing affair. The result effectively ends any chance we had of winning the league.

Result: PTO ALCUDIA 3-0 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Berrios 12pen, Kyrtegos 17, Berrios 28
    M.o.M: Habdas (PTO)

The match was virtually over after just half an hour, as our hosts scored three times in the space of 16 minutes, through Berrios 2, and Kyrtegos. We never mustered a shot at goal until the 74th minute. The win puts our rival, 4 points clear of us now, and we've actually dropped to third place on goal difference. Even if we win every one of our remaining games, we would still need both 1st and 2nd to drop points, to give us a chance of the trophy.

Our late match, saw our return CL match in Papua New Guinea. We had a 2-1 lead from the first leg so our usual tactics changed slightly from usual.

Result: TONGFANG UNITED 0-1 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Morgada 71
    M.o.M: Jan Fredriksen (LC)

With us holding a slender lead from the home leg, manager Billy Wheeler changed from his usual tactics, and played with just one striker, plumping for an extra midfielder. We still had most of the play, but the score remained. nervously, at 0-0. We knew that with the away goal, our opponents would only need 1 goal to put us out. As the game entered the final quarter, Hector Morgada saw the coaching staff getting ready to make a substitution, and saw his number on the board. This seemed to inspire him, and a minute later, he weaved his way through the home defence to bag our winner.

So we are through to the quarters of the CL, where we will play the strongest team in the competition. Frankly, I would have prefered today's two match results to have been reversed. I could have lived with defeat in the cup, if it meant we still had a chance of league glory.

League update 10:29 PM CET: Ujo FC 0-7 FC Kneipenkick
We travelled today to Serbia and faced Ujo FC, who threw us out of the cup last season (1-4 highest loss in FCK's history ). Ujo is still active, is on my friends list, but lacks investment in his team (probably saves money and tokens) and fielded today a team with 15 quality points less than us. So it was very one-sided.

CL update, 10:57 PM CET: FC Kneipenkick [32.3] 8-1 NewTeam[19.7] (not the New Team from the forum)
Our CL match started less than half-an-hour after the league match. 2 tokens were saved, but instead rest packs were bought to make the key players fit. NewTeam tried to turn the 0-3 home loss around with an offensive 4-3N-3, FCK played 4-5-1V.
The away team had the first shot on goal, but Mosqueda could score the 1-0 after a nice pass by Gürser (7.). The rest of the first half remained boring, but two FCK defenders received yellow cards.
One of them was Vasilev, Lindeborg replaced him a half-time. The away team manager took his DL out and brought an AMC. No clever move since his formation became illegal. NewTeams manager corrected his move six minutes later, took the AMC out and brought his substitute DL. FCK used the confusion and scored by Kunz (54.), Sutter (61.) and Decker (62.). The last two goals despite playing with 10 men since Tonseth got injured (but only for 2 days). Fathi replaced him, but could not prevent NewTeam from scoring the 4-1 (Bouadia, 63.). Since FCK got chance after chance NewTeam wanted to avoid further damage and their manager brought another defender, 5-3-2 (68.). Our players could deal quite well with the new formation: Fathi (72., 86.), Decker (80.) and Mosqueda (83.) made it 8-1, FCK highest victory in the CL knock-out stage so far. Player progress:

    Outlook:
Tomorrow in the league we play the second in the table, La Salle from Argentine. And we meet La Salle on Thursday and Saturday also in the quarter final of the Champions League.

    League, Matchday 15

    Bengal Tigers 0 - 9 New Team

"Not to win, but to crush" was today's leitmotif for COach Mad's eleven. After the shocking defeat in the last match, the players were defently fired up seeking revenge. The victims just didn't happen to understand pretty well what went on in their home field. The whole stadium shutted down in silence before the strenghtstorm of the white and blue devils. With this victory New Team stays fairly at the second place, going for one of the two last direct matches of the season tomorrow. Winning both prolly will mean to win the league.

    - Rob Denton injuries at minute 6 and get recovered in time for the CL match.

    Scorers: Mellow (5'), Callaghan (6' - FK), DIamond (15'), Mellow (22', A:Biegansky), Lenders (50'), Callaghan (60' - FK), Lenders (67'), Callaghan (79' - FK), Becker (90').

MoM: Philip Callaghan (9), New Team.

Champions League, 1/8 Finals, 2nd Leg:

Not satisfied enough with the League Win, we hosted Real Leon Fc in the second leg after the 1-4 achieved in the first one. This time, as the previous, New Team totally overpowered the opponents. Somehow, tho, we managed to score only twice even with 21 shoots, 12 of them on target. It was pretty frustrating considering Real Leon shooted 2 times in the goal in the whole match, both from minute 1 to minute 5:
-For n.5 times Lenders or Hutton dribbled 2 men and were one to one with the keeper, failing it.
-For n.3 times Hutton dribbled the defenders, and one on one with the keeper served a companion, which sent the ball out.
-For n.2 times we made a counter with a cross headed right by our midfielders, once the keeper took it and once went out.
-For n.2 times the FK specialist Callaghan sent the ball right through the barrier and the keeper deflected it in corner.
-For n.4 times we took a corner, headed, and the Goalkeeper saved it.
That said, we took the lead with the DL Everett, served by Diamond before the keeper, and scored the second goal at the end with a long ranged shoot by Mellow. Rob Denton Injured AGAIN at minute 27', being replaced.

    Scorers: Everett (19'), Mellow (88')

Mom: Bruce Harper (8), New Team

Advancing to quarters on 6-1 aggregate where we will face a weaker team (Q 18.1 vs our 30.6), Mcbrayt FC, who after a 0-0 away won 5-1 at home with the opponent having an illegal formation in the second leg.

2 surprises on the board with both HP and Onur Aras (both teams over 20Q) getting outed in the second leg. Tenerife proves to be the challenger winning easily 4-0 home after the 2-3 away.

    CL result

played at our home with 5-3 leading score, my team should win this easily. But, disaster happened. My only striker's sent off at 8'. I didn't change team's formation because fell asleep an hour before the match . The opponent had a penalty kick because of the red card. J Valerio, the penalty kicker, converted it to a goal. 0-1. Ten minutes after, he doubled their lead. 0-2. They needed 2 more goals to knocked us out. At 77' my AML, R Mollina found the net. 1-2. C Norris made an equaliser at 83'. 2-2. Good result for us if the final score's 2-2. Unluckily, they scored a winning goal at 89' through their *1 MC, B Kar. 2-3. The final possesion, Total shots, and shots on goal're respectively 23:77, 15:18, and 5:11. MOTM award went to J Valerio. However, we're qualified to the next round by 7-6 on aggregate score.

    Champions League Draw Update

All 8 group winners progressed winning all their ties outright without any need for deciding factors such as away goals, extra-time or penalties. The tie of the quarter-finals is undoubtably our game against Coloz United, Although their team is not the strongest around, they do however have an active manager, the major threat is GALATASARAY on the other side of the draw who keeps improving and also supports my rivals in the CL games as well, he also recently changed his team name from Kadir FC. If we were to meet in this seasons final. This will spark off a rivalry between the 2 teams.
