Having a defender with a corner taking ability is never a bad thing, You only have to look at Novotny's record at my club, but now hes been 2nd choice since Michu also takes corners and he is either footed.

I had one myself in Lamb for L1 and he finished top assister but I think it's a better investment to have a defender with defensive wall or aerial defender and have a midfielder get a corner ability. Strikers I prefer to have FK taker or 1 on 1 ability

Midfielders can have any really, just depends where in midfield they play, I'd prefer a playmaker and free-kick or dribbler, strikers I normally like one to have 1v1 and the other to be a penalty taker. Yes for defenders defensive wall or aerial is best but something like corner kick isn't bad if none of your other players was a corner taker like in Novotny's case until Michu signed.
