Possible push to 8*?

Running out of tokens.. I'd say it will cost me about 100+ tokens to get him to 8* but this late in the season it's not worth it, especially just for a DC. I'd rather get Petersen to 8* though, he's about 20 away

Yeah seems like the better choice... Petersen reaching end of PT window and the young defender has many seasons left for PT, but having a sensible token bank ready for next season is the most important thing, relying on videos for greens lately.

Oh well! Season over. Out of the cup, drawn against far stronger team in CL, and now even further behind in the league after today's league match.

Result: LONDON CITY 1-1 NO CHANCE FC

A match we had to win, fizzled out to a disappointing draw, as everything conspired against us to prevent a positive result. The match started badly (again), when leading scorer, Hector Morgada sustained an ankle injury after just 5 minutes. We managed to hold a halftime lead, when Adam Zola slotted home after a weaving run. But things returned to normal, and we were rocked again, when a dubious penalty was awarded against us (for the 3rd match in succession), and Espareza equalised for the visitors. We are now 3 points adrift of the leaders, having played a game more. If the bad luck continues over the next couple of days, I think it'll be a chance for the reserves to get some match time for the rest of the season.

You've had a few injuries lately... perhaps its time to use a few reds that you keep storing up? but then again if your calling it curtains for winning trophies theres no real point, I would of said for your CL Quarter-Final, don't make it a push over for your stronger opponent and who knows?

League, Matchday 16

New Team [4-2-2W-2] 6 - 0 Minato [3-1-4-2]

We were called to win by any means to keep up on the League, against the 4th place, and we didn't fail the expectations. Apart from the first 10 mins (forgot to change from middle to flank play -.-), the match started with a good pace from New Team, imposing a good ball control and possession, and having his 2 offensive wings in an awesome condition. We took the lead with Mellow (10') after a thundering drive from the right, and doubled the score with him again before the end of first half (44') after a magic one touch pass by Hutton. Due to the good lead, and overwhelming possession, Coach Mad moved Becker to the center, and took out a defender (Strauss) for another AML (Biegansky), tarting the second half with an aggresive 3-2-3AMs-2. Which proved to be devastating, with New Team going for the third goal with a wonderful one-two by Hutton letting Mellow score his hat trick (72'). Awesome performance of Coach's captain, who right after showed that he isn't just an assist machine going for a full dribbling in the area and beating the keeper (76'), and doubling few minutes later with a missile near the area's line (84'). Becker completes the round score with a shadow shoot from mid-range (86').

New Team stays in second place still, but with only 2 "hard matches" left, while his opponents will have to face still the first 5 in the board.

-A particulat mention goes to Danny Mellow. He is the player i took just to cover for an AMC which proved to be a fast trainer. Not only he went from 24 to 32 in a blink, but despite being acquired at season already started he catched up with 11 goals in 14 half-matches, being the second scorer after Hutton.

I only got 2 green packs last night from videos. I had to resort to the 176T package because I wasn't getting many greens

Thats 200 greens if you find another 8T from somewhere, then you got next season to think about as well.

I only got 3 greens myself earlier + another 3 greens from 3 friendlies I played after my league game but I lost Ironman Zidane to injury for 4 days for only the second time in 3 1/2 seasons.

This will give Pepp Crawford a much needed chance.

Next season shouldn't really be a problem. I'm going to slow down my PT by June-July as I'll be away for that time. Thinking about how to throw away the league and not get promoted because with a good team, I can still get promoted despite playing with an illegal formation (as shown by my 2nd team)
