Palace teams Cup report...
Palace Casuals have one less competition to worry about this season, a 2-2 home draw in the 2nd Leg of the Cup wasn't enough to overcome the 1-2 deficit from the 1st Leg, and they crashed out 3-4 on aggregate. Two-goal Omar Hansen snatched the MoM award from under the nose of the opposition 2-goal forward, as a consolation for the defeat in the Cup tie.
Palace Terriers completed their win in the Preliminary Round of the Cup with a 5-0 win in the 2nd Leg for a 15-0 aggregate. The Terriers youth setup produced a 4* striker and he was snapped up by the Management, a decision vindicated by a 9.9 rating performance with 2 goals and an assist. Fellow striker Matt Hall duplicated the stats but was rated 10.0 for the MoM award. Aad Roemgens supplied the other goal.
Desert Rats FC sneaked through to the next round on the back of a 1-0 home win, Francisco Pelissier celebrating his 50th appearance (29 goals, 11 assists) with the only goal of the game, and the Rats progress 2-1 on aggregate.
