Desert Rats FC started off the days' play and were in action at home against the 3rd place team. All was well, striker Steve Haddou having put the Rats ahead in the 7th minute, until early in the second half, when the visitors scored two goals in quick succession. Despite all their efforts, the Rats couldn't break through again and they ended up 1-2 losers and in 3rd place in the table.
Palace Casuals were next up and were also playing at home, against 5th place. Right-winger Johan Shaqiri put the Casuals ahead in the 7th minute (spot the common theme) but there the match for the hosts ended, as the visitors scored two in each half to inflict a 1-4 defeat.
The Management has been perusing the Transfer market again, and put a couple of speculative bids on strikers. Got the first after a short fight, and the second insurance bid went through without competition...
