Here's a MYTH. Stretching before a game makes injuries in the game less likely. IRL, yes. In TE, my guy got a 5 day injury from stretching last night.

I always knew stretching could cause an injury. Well, not always, but since it happened the first time. It's just a 10/3 training option (in addition to the 20/6, 30/9 and 60/18, the latter available in web app only) with an arbitrary label. Now, if I knew that each training option has the exact same chance of injury, I would stick with "practice match" for 30/9 gain or "practice match on hard" for 60/18 gain. But Nordeus warns us that training on hard has a higher chance of injury. By that rationale, the lightest training option should have the lowest chance of injury. In practice, this is my second injury (and a severe one) from stretching. I don't recall how many injuries I got from "practice match" or "cardio", but not many more. Perhaps the injuries from stretching just stick with you more because it seems so unfair.

This has nothing to do with TE mechanics, but I wonder if IRL it is possible to get an injury from stretching.

I usually give my players a stretch before matches, best order is cardio stretching then match training imo. Makes sense if you've ever been on a pitch. I've seen broken legs from cardio and acl tears from stretching in this game, nothing surprises me

That's rather superstitious of you, IMHO. All it does is lowers their condition 3% right before the match. I try not to have any players on the pitch who have gone yellow -- both for fear of injury and because I assume their performance is reduced. That could be another MYTH to be busted. I try not to start any player who is below 92-94%. Could be a superstition of mine.

    Only in real life.

Me, too. All the proof I personally need that "stretching" is nothing but a label for the 10/3 training option.

    1. Newly acquired players need time to "gel" with the club and achieve their full potential. They may play poorly at first for no apparent reason. (I think it's plausible)
That's a myth. It's a question that I read some other times and it has been answered. But it's so obvious for every one to see that, because every one is buying new players almost every season so can see that some players playing good from the beginning, some others later and some never. It's a lottery.

    Beyond the Myth -
A new created team need time to perform well ?
I 'm not talking if you buy 11 players and pump them to 7-8* but a team with 5* players from the market.
It happened many times to me so I believe that it's something more than coincidence. This season, I 'm starting with a new lv1 team, I bought 12 5* players, and hardly can win 3* bot teams .
The suggestion is to keep the first post updated with the myths that have been tested/discussed. There are currently only four myths listed in the "resume", even though there are 8 pages of discussions. I think inconclusive or "in progress" myths should also be listed.
The thread is still open and alive, so I 'm waiting for more opinions.

All those things about training and fast trainers, have been answered in my Guide. I know, it's boring to read so long thread but it's also boring to me to repeat the same things.
So far, training and fast trainers is one of the few things of the game, that are so clear and steady.

I'd requested you to bust the myth asked by Gert recently whether SAs are just visual effects. IMO they aren't since my CK specialist has been assisting regularly.
AH AH — manager of Atlético Kolkata. Named in honour of my hometown club, Atlético de Kolkata, which won the inaugural edition of Indian Super League in 2014.

A good defence is the best offense.

Yes, I know that thread of Gert and made a comment there.
I also read your comment and another 1-2 more about the "Myth" of sa.
This was anyway one of my future projects for this thread.
The truth is that now with the live animation version, we have new info about sa but the problem is that I don't play TE 2016.
I still play the old version because of auto-sign skill points and because my dual-core Samsung isn't capable to handle the heavier now program.
Mostly I use pc and I have m mobile only for emergency, when I 'm not able to be in the pc.
So, I 'm watching (and waiting for more) comments, opinions or what else, from managers who play the Live but they are experience and good observers too, to give us some feedback.
Unfortunately there aren't many in the forum.
I believe that it's more than a Myth and sometime I 'm gonna make some analysis.
Another, also important thing is the question :
    Is it worthy ?
Another classical answer from me : Better have than not to ...
If you have the sources, go for them.
if you don't, doesn't matter, it isn't the big thing.
If you can buy a player with sa, go for him. If it's going to a bidding war, let it go.
Here is my opinion about TE sa

I am gonna keep testing am's both with and without SS. If by season end they have a equal score, you have my conclusion with a statically high reliability . Which I very well will continue next season

It's also has to do with the form of the player too
    as for his opponents.
There is a counter for sa (not all).
If oppo has a D with def.wall , that's a counter for SS (as Aerial D. vs Corner specialist).
