After a change of club ownership, FC Hoofdrop has been renamed Dragonflight FC. The new collective has elected to retain the current manager and honour his previous contract. The Snow Dragons are currently outright 3rd, having just beaten 4th 0-1 with next home game hosting unbeaten 2nd place club, FC Kensington.

The colour change reflects shared loyalities between Dragonflight FC and the hometown Canadian Football team, the Eskimos. The latter currently playing in their league final for the first time in 10 years next Sunday.

Win in the league. I used 4-3-1-2 vs 5-2-1-2 like a defensive diamond. 1-3 to keep me top.

Now for Cup match I'm losing 1-0 on agg. He's playing 4-3w-1-2

meh youre fine, one away goal is all you need to get to penalties and if you score two you are through just play attacking and pressing when his team tires out.
I'm up 4-3 after home leg but concerned about the 3 away goals as my team hasn't been consistently solid at the back.

Thank you, I'm just worried about his quality just being enough to get him through. His team seems to play direct accurate passes that make me nervous.

If you can put 4 past him I'm sure you can out-score him. I wish you luck in the second leg.

    Atlético Kolkata Day 9 Report

Can't be happier than today as Atlético Kolkata won 2-1 home in Cup and 7-0 away in league. Our Cup dreams flying high, and still have a shot in league.

In the Cup, Soto and Rama got booked in 9' and 26'. Rose scored the first in 44', but only his 5th in 17 games. In the 2nd half, Rose weaved his magic from the corner as Azouni headed in the net in 65'. But celebration over as the opposition scored immediately in the 66', thus Gregory Bosch once again failed to keep a clean sheet. But who cares how as we won the tie 3-1 agg

In the league Atlético Kolkata faced another tanking team. Finally right winger Colm Moore got a chance to play after 3 days as Atlético Kolkata signed his left wing counterpart, Marcio Franco. Yes, Franco's gonna retire this season, but a 3* ML/AML, with shadow striker SA, and that too a free agent? Too much to resist. Got him for 1T. With getting the players I needed the most (2 of each - GK, AML/ML, AMR/MR, DL/DC, DC/DR, DC/DMC; 3 ST and 4 MC) now I don't need to spend tokens anymore this season.
Marcio and Moore played like legends — both had 10 ratings, but MOM was Marcelo, who netted a hattrick while Colm scored a goal. 2 of Marcelo's 3 goals were assisted by Moore, while Moore's only goal came from Marcio's pass. What else do you want if your wingers support each other so much? Moore's diagonal balls to Marcio, who then shooted, were beautiful.
Others who have entered the scoresheet are Enwistle and Guerro from Rose's corners. Rose took his assist tally to 15 in 18 games. Entwistle assisted Marcelo in a penalty (network error during that time, what the hell had happened?) and Rhys Dixon fired the ball in the net from about 20 metres. I'm now motivated to win the league too.

PS: Just noticed I referred Marcio as Marcelo, correction

Home match today against team in 6th, and the good work from yesterday continued, but the result wasn't so soul-crushing. Jorge Contera was injured three minutes before half-time with the score at 0-0, and the Management had a quick think at half-time as there isn't a direct replacement for him. Upshot was a change from the 4-1-4-1 listed counter to the opponents formation and go back to the 'good old days' of 4-5-1V, defensive, counter, flanks. Andy Bayunu was brought on to replace Contera and left-midfielder Juan Manuel Ramirez shifted forward (out of position) to the left-wing spot. Nothing changed, so the normal left-winger Martin Kozak was brought on to replace Ramirez and a straight striker swap requested, Mehmet Serif to replace Philip Deery. While this was waiting to be actioned, Deery surged through the visitors' defence and then squared the ball for central defender Martin Schopper to notch his first goal of the season. Nine minutes later, Mario Dinamarca slotted home his second penalty in two matches after Bayunu was scythed down in the area. Two late bookings to Dinamarca and Bayunu, the latter will now miss a match, and the late consolation that the visitors scored completed the action. Casuals move up to 10th after this 2-1 win; Mario Dinamarca, celebrating his 100th appearance for the Casuals in this match, got MoM.
