Day 17 - Palace teams report.

Palace Terriers Management looked at their 5-0 advantage and gave the reserves their chance at a start in their 2nd leg Champions League match. One of the 1st-teamers who retained his place, Declan McGranaghan scored at each end of the match in a 2-2 draw. Terriers progress to the Quarter-Finals 7-2 on aggregate.

Palace Casuals played away in their latest League match and had mixed fortunes on the pitch. Midfielder Mustapha Haouli picked up his first two bookings of the season and was back in the dressing room for an early bath by the 37th minute. The remaining ten men struggled on to half-time, where the Management had a substitution and formation change ready, but not without left-winger Martin Kozak netting an opening goal to put the visitors in the lead at the break. Five minutes into the second half, Andy Bayunu scored a fine solo goal, and substitute midfielder Miguel Saez put Casuals 3-0 up with nine minutes to go. The home side scored a last minute consolation goal, but Casuals were already celebrating their second away win of the season, 3-1.

Palace Terriers were psyched up to close the gap on the League leaders after they suffered a home draw, but were visited by the Nordeus Troll in their away match and lost 0-1, losing prolific right-winger Declan McGranaghan to an ACL tear injury on the way.

Hmm... well... thats a resume of the whole season, all team contributes a little, thats why we are 2nd, 1 point of the top.
Beckham had a chance in foul, and scored the 1st goal, then the goal of Grzyb, is his 5th in 15 matches, so that means is not a key ST... just a 2nd option... te Russian ST Shmarov had a chance and did not score due the gk... so I see, I have to go for ST's and sell the 2 subs'

this season I have one of the better defenses that Ive never had, Carbonaro-Clara-Rozomashvili and-Doulyazal are doing a excellent work.
Beckham since I added the Greek player, appear more, and saved us in defense today.

    Time to hunt a ST.

Does anyone use this formation? I saw couple of people use it, and think this is a crazy formation but might be very aggressive.

It is very aggressive but also very very weak.

You need atleast 6 on your half. Only time I'd consider one CM and no DMC is with a formation like 4-3w-2n-1

At least I don't have the gut to try this one unless I play against abandoned team ...

He's probably playing force counter with long passes and hard attacking, suicide formation.

Today is very important day for my team. Now I'm waiting the home match against a strong oponent (first match I won 0-1) Season 73 - Week 3-img_2672.jpg

And later in the evening I'll play the match against second place in League which is also very IMPORTANT to win.
