Palace Casuals went back to type and crashed out of the Cup at the Preliminary Round again after a 0-2 home defeat, 1-2 on aggregate.
Palace Terriers played their semi-abandoned team again and were 5-0 up in the first 38 minutes before completing an 8-1 win for a 12-1 aggregate score. Scout striker Ian Kay led the charge with two goals, and Rui Pinhal again scored a brace direct from free-kicks. After a short cameo appearance in the final match of last season, Youth team midfield product Tommy Pauley got on the score sheet this time with a pair of goals, the other two coming from MoM right-winger Julien van der Plas and left-midfielder Carlos Pineda.
