The idea is, you do a friendly to test these players, so thats one work. Then, you can prove these players in freekicks and corners, ofc. but, if, theres one or 2 corners and they fail, prove another player in this work, you don't need to test all fouls during 90', just 1-2 freekicks/corners, because usually, there's a player in the team, that take freekicks better, and another that takes corners better too, so, if you can find this man, thats a +1 and thats another work interesting to do, apart from test the players during the match and see how they work, how they contribute.
Thats a 2nd work, because you can have a key player, ST for example scoring 1 goal per match, but bad in fouls/corner kicks. And probably inside your team will be 1 player that will convert in goal, the 70% of the fouls that pick, or the 70% corners despite that maybe will participe less. Like my David Beckham now.
I did now a friendly, for example, and the only corner finished in goal, and the 2 fould the same.
Wow! I need to test this out. My corner taker is decent but my freekick taker has scored only 1.
I'll test it out and try to find an effective set piece taker, thank you![]()
I want to add here that the younger one is better investment as the ages where the fast trainers have the same gaining, is 18-21. After that they dropping. So start with the 19 y.o. your tests. Also from my experience, left-right-either foot doesn`t matter for being a succesfull (or not) specialist.

I thought the foot side didn't matter. I'm sure Nordeous confirmed this aswell. Purely cosmetic.
Ok, so I'll test my 19 year old first and hope for 8s and above and test my other one and compare.
Afaik, playmaker SA has same - equall effect which is independent, I mean, not determined by players position. It will give some small ball posession bonus, so has equall effect on both DC-DMC or MC/ML/MR.
For example, Free kick SA or corner kick SA won't have equall effect on striker, mildfielder or defender. Very few defenders with FK SA would actually score goal from free kick. Also I've noticed, don't know why, corner kick isn't that effective on MC as much as on wide or attacking mildfielders and strikers.
What I've recently found out is that my ML-MC dribbler decided few matches where he managed to dribble alone few players and score (saw comments of his action during the match). I though this SA was completly uselles and ineffective, but I was wrong.
And again, afaik, shadow striker should increase chances of scoring goal from distance shoots. So, if this is true, then that SA would be more useful on MC than on AMx. I had in Dnipro last season 5* AML-AMC-AMR shadow striker, but he scored only few goals although had good form. So if someone has AMC-MC or wants to train such player, I'd suggest to train shadow striker if that player is going to play MC as his default position, and sometimes AMC. This way shadow striker should have more effect, because ML-MC-MR usually shoot form distance, more often than AMC.
Of course, if someone thinks i'm wrong, then i'm glad to read reply and learn why this isn't correct.![]()

I agree with t11_fan that defenders usually failing in <attack> sa like free-kick & corner specialist so I never buy or train such a player. I give only header and def.wall. For playmaker ability, I was expecting that those players would create more assists but my experience with them is that they act more as shadow strikers. They like to shot a lot- LOL
I have scout defender with free kick SA in my team, and I've tested him, any mildfielder which has similar attacking skill without FK Sa is much better FK taker than him. So, his SA is completly useless because he is defender.
