I use passing down the flanks when my opponent has only 2 wingers (both defenders and mildfield wingers).

Would you play down flanks against 3n-3w-3-1?

    Please write detailed info:
    3N means 3DC, that's sure, but;
    3W means ML-MC-MR or DML-DMC-DMR?
    3 means 3MC, ML-MC-MR or AML-AMC-AMR or 3AMC?

Against these I would use passing through flanks:
    3DC-3DMW-3MC-ST
    3DC-3MW-3AMC-ST
    3DC-3DMC-3AMW-ST
    3DC-3DMC-3AMC-ST
    3DC-3MC-3AMW-ST
    3DC-3MC-3AMC-ST

Ah I see. So if you played 4-3n-2w-1 you would use down flanks. So 4 against 2, right?

If you used 3-5-2v would you still play down flanks?

Yes, but If opponent has DML and DMR, then I'd rather use ML/R instead of AML/R

He lined up with 4-1-2-1-2 narrow so all I did was switch my LB to CB centre and my RB to CB right and my CB to DMC as they play multi positions. I lined up with 3-5-2v Now for orders, all I changed was zonal to man to man as tactics are mirrored and down both flanks so I don't waste possession down the middle.

You can see I scored 2 goals with Escobar, my El NiƱo in the first half, with a rating of 9 I focused down his flank and he grabbed a hat trick.

How did you get on, FVSO?
Please help me with the full details of your formation. I mean 3-5-2V.

If you mean orders, they're almost the same as my 4-2-2-2

    I used 3n-5-2v against 4-1-2-1-2 narrow.

    Normal mentality
    Short passing
    Down flanks
    High press
    Normal/hard tackling
Man to man against the diamond
    No counter
    No offside

+ Offside trap ON, IF opponent uses 3ST formation
