Atlético Kolkata Day 23 Report
In the away days, we drew 2-2 away in the CL against a team 4Q higher. Baert (14') and John (23') surprisingly gave us the lead. But definitely they showed up their potential, by striking back in 43' and 65'. Unfortunately MC Claudio got his second yellow of the tournament, so he'll not play in the return leg. I'd been ecstatic with a win (since my motto was neither to score nor concede), but those two away goals were crucial.
In the league we faced a team in the bottom half who's pretty competitive. In the 21', James punched away a shot, but couldn't save the second one as the visitors trailed 1-0. 13 minutes later, AMC (we played 4-2-3-1 after an eternity) Arif Bircan scored from a Baert corner. 10 minutes after the break, Bircan once again striked the winner as John assisted. The league leader got trolled by 7th place at home 1-4 to reduce their lead to 6 points. They are yet to play 2nd, 3rd, 4th... Anything can happen in this league. Seems that no one wants to win the title.
