Day 7 report
It's a great day for FC Bayern
First match we beat CL group opponent by 2-1 who have better quality than me,
then second match we won league match by 2-0 against same quality opponent!!
My AMC injured for a day and only ST injured for 4 days that I heeld him already,
Singed 18y old 4* DR for 9.27M

5th in the league after 5games. I'm defenitly one of the weaker teams, also in the CL i'm the weakest team of the group, atm I'm in 3rd.
Still in the run for the cup, but next round I have to face one of the strongest teams that's still in the race for the cup.

Only thing I really want to improve on the pitch are the DL and MC positions

CL: 3rd in group stage (lose 0-1, draw 0-0, but I am sure I can get to 2nd place because the 1st one in group is just mindblowingly strong)

Cup: 1/16 finals after 2-2 at home and 0-3 away win

I'm baffled....

Most goals I've conceded are from set pieces and usually follow after a booking. I'm 2-0 up then they get a freekick and then level the score. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. From League winners to 10th place and declining.

2 miracles happened in the first half. Pitry scored a freekick and my striker scored.

I had exactly that sort of thing with Palace Casuals for three seasons before last season's dramatic resurgence... Hopefully your period of decline will be a lot shorter. One question, do you have any players who are in the last season of their contract (i.e. '?' in the contract duration column)? If so, re-sign them and see if that improves things...

No but I do have about 5 players with 1 year left on his contract. Shall I renew theirs? I can't explain it, I had a really good League against some really good opponents and did well. Now I'm playing against good teams in poor form and still losing leads.
I have dropped my GK as he has been really poor.

Tomorrow I play a tough Cup opponent and my confidence has taken a knock. I can't even rely on counter formations anymore. Even my right winger got a 6 today and he's never had a 6 rating before.

Here is our teams in comparison. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your opponent is playing 4-1-2-1-2 Wide Diamond, my usual counter-formation is 3N-1(DMC)-4-1(AMC)-1, starting Normal/Middle/Short/Counter, changing as circumstances go (Attack/No counter if losing, Defensive if winning). If you keep running into traffic in their defence, change to Mixed focus and/or passing to give your players more latitude.

One problem, I can't use flat 4 midfield as Escobar my best player is AMR/ST.

My season is practically same as you. From 1st place to 10th. Today i was 2-0 and then they scored and free kick and a long shot at the 89' minute. It's the third draw in the league that we got after taking the lead. Sometimes, this game is insane
