What an eventful match!
Rotated in a few reserves but condition affected a few of the group. They scored too easily early on so waited until the half time whistle to make changes.
I changed to whole press and hard tackle to unsettle the opponent yet still wasn't getting through so I brought on Escobar to affect the game and subbed off my left back who was underperforming and went hard attacking, mixed passing and offside trap and he turned the result around. Tebily scored from a freekick then when Escobar come on he set Tebily up for a second. Late in the game the opponents defender gets a red card and Escobar punishes them from a freekick.
Already qualified but I'd rather finish second as most teams in second are levels above with a world class team :/

Day 11 - Palace Terriers Champions League report.

Palace Terriers had a 'dead rubber' Champions League match with just over three hours to spare before their next league match, so the Management decided to put all the reserves in and they produced a sterling performance to see off their opponents.

Day 11 - Palace Casuals League report.

Palace Casuals were away at 11th place and eased to a 3-1 win, Mario Dinamarca doing the business with his free-kicks again, the first being well saved by the opposition 'keeper, and the second crossed high into the box where DMC Rasmus Sadi drifted into the box and nodded it home. Other than that, it was the wingers show, Andre Faisca and Andy Bayunu (recently adorned with his 6th star) terrorised the defence, Bayunu coming out with a couple of goals, and Faisca an assist, along with a few blocked shots, and bruises inflicted by his marker, who eventually got his just desserts.

Day 11 - Palace Terriers League report.

Palace Terriers played away at 13th place and won 3-1, the wingers sharing the spoils...

Tomorrow we face the 1st that have same points like us, and Ive changed the cup match till night to meditate more.

This league from mine is too funny. Even when you think it can't be any worse, the game finds a way to annoy me more HaHa. I am up against the bottom feeder who has only 3! points so far. What can go wrong you think? 5th minute a foul from my side. Free kick for the opponent and his AML scores! 1-0 behind. No worries I have enough chances. Yellow card for his MC. Then a direct red for his MC and a penalty. Of course I miss. Sigh. Another foul from his side and my free kick specialist scores!! Phew 1-1. Game goes on with 11 against 10. Somehow the bottom feeder succeeds in creating more chances from that moment then my team. What the...... The red card must have been red bull because it gave them wings. I see chance after chance for the advisary. Wait, what, ho, no,....... Phew he didn't score. 1-1 in the end for lucky me.

About corner kicks. Does anybody score from corner kicks anymore. With my 2 teams with corner kick specialists I have so far only scored twice in all games. What is going on?

The lost from yesterday is gone in the team. A good win in this game. Both managers were present.
Tommorow we have a big game against the nr 1 Real madrid wild ( playing 3n-4-1-2). We set a bonus for this game for my players.
