Day 14 - Palace teams report.
Palace Casuals played away at 11th place and dropped back to 11th after a 1-2 defeat, striker Massimiliano Gerini opening the scoring in the first half.
Palace Terriers played at home to 13th place and picked up another three points from a 8-0 win. Left-winger Samir Gross scored a hat-trick in each half, striker Brian Horne and midfielder Christophe Ouahbi picking up the odd ones.
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
Weird game in league against the team on 4th place (me being 7th), which is one of the weaker teams of our league. I was afraid I might get trolled, but it turned out to be an easy 3-0 win. First time this season I set a bonus, just to be sure.
I've had connection problems all day, getting disconnected several times during the match. Afterwards I had to rush to get things in order for the important cup match in three hours. But, between disconnections, I managed. It does get a little annoying though.
Very weird league match. 5 goals 3 of them by ST. what was very wierd was 4 of the 5 goals was only 'text goals' and the one animated was a new double counter striker goal

A good win against a strong oppenent. Dokter was the hero of the day with 2 goals.
Another nervy 2nd half, Gk with a huge save off a FK in the 85th preserved the 3 points.
I had hard tackling on half the game, still only 12 tackles? My bravery average is quite low on my defenders compared to their other stats, that's likely it. i want to share my table but waiting for next fixture so I can do a proper midseason report.

Out of cup, which was to be expected. Lost 2-0, 5-0 agg. Started with 4-3N-2W-1 against 4-5-1V, changed to 3W-3N-2W-2 and hard attack after the first goal, but to no avail.
The match itself wasn't too bad, equal posession and more shots on target. He just had the better team.
After many seasons I had two defeat in the same day, that was a big black cat, I'm still trying to understand what went wrong with my team form. Tomorrow hope will be a normal day
