Day 22 - Palace teams report.
Palace Terriers played away at the basement team in the League and had a lacklustre first half, scoring twice in the first 10 minutes and then sitting back for the rest of the half. The home side pulled one back before half time, but after the break - having been given a verbal kick up the backside by the Management - Terriers turned on the talent and finished 11-1 winners. Left-winger Nikolay Radev scored 5 times (4 assists) and right-winger Declan McGranaghan netted 4 times (2 assists) but bagged the MoM award. Striker Samir Gross and substitute defender Xavier Theresine cleared up the odd ones. 6 matches to go, and Terriers still hold a 7 point advantage at the top...
Palace Casuals maintained their good recent League form with a 0-0 draw away at the team just above them in 8th place. Both sides were adventurous in attack, but ran up against defenders and goalkeepers at their best.
