    My star GK takes CKs now and succeeds every once in a while. He also scored the only PK he ever took. It helped decide the CL tiebreak, so big deal, yeah. He does not have the skills called out by the OP, he is just a highly rated player, second highest on the team.

    Mine is the highest rated and youngest, so I just tried it and it worked. Most of my opponents would have been wondering what's happening. Why is a gk scoring free kick against them. What a feeling

    In my opinion, it is a flaw in the game because so far, no counter-attack has lead to a goal after the GK gave away possession in the opponents half or no long shots has been tried to the 'empty' net. The developers probably missed or did not considered the situation of a GK taking a free-kick in an opponent's half.

    Well it happens but has mostly not led to goals in reality. It could be a flaw anyway but I will enjoy it while it lasts.
