Niko, since you play old version, maybe you haven't seen the FK save with the GK going instantly from one side to the other? (I think it represents a GK diving).
First time you see that you'll have yourself really convinced the system is against you. I still say it's not, but what do I know, haha.

I watch games from the new version, usually the most difficult.
I can see some times when the F-K specialist shooting with a curve and the GK just catch the ball - lol
I think I never saw it in real football.
Those shots are so difficult that the GK hardly manage to send the ball out

* for newer players of the game, just to inform as the olders know it
If we read "majestic leap", it's 90% (or more) goal

This was a friendly I didn't watch, me about 112, opponent +4 levels somewhere between 165 and 190s. Lost 3:2 after ET, 2:2 at 90. Van Ginkel was in goal.




We were low condition, but I suspect saves must be just 1 component of GK rating. I found another early this season GK rated 6.4, comment "great match for GK"

Associations games yesterday and we 're playing for 3rd place
In the fist game, my GK, Dida even if he had 2 saves, conceded 5 goals and got the lowest rate of the team, a 5.
Bad day said the ass.manager.


After two hours (the 1st leg was 22.00, the 2nd 24.00), I used Dida again (I don't have a 2nd GK, only one 1* in the subs) and he had 5 saves, a rate of 9.7 and MoM title. Oppo efficiency dropped from 71% to 0%.


Well, I still don't understand those asso games
In the season I have 3 goals against in 16 games so far (ok, I had some easy games too)

This I can't figure out...
He was 43w12, I was 4141 normal, short, left flank, low, M2M, normal, no trap, counters on. Beat him easily 5:0 first leg. Overnight game, neither manager present.



His 120 GK was injured at 3', which would be enough for a story. Replacement GK at 108%.

From the stats, his GK made 6 saves and we only won 0:1 in the end. My GK on the other hand made 1 save... but won the MoM



Ratings were low all around, including all my defenders... So what did my GK do to deserve MoM and 8.1? Haha, we'll never know.

Maybe shots on have different weights, like certain types of goals increase rating more than others if they are saved or checked successfully.

plus some saves from C-K (which doesn't count on stats)
plus some extra, cause he won the game

Save all the shots... I thought that didn't happen when the manager is present
