Activation Of Dribbler And Shadow Striker Special Abilities

Anyone noticed the activation of those special abilities?

Agreed 100% my 4☆ shadow striker scored 20 goals in 30 mathes ....like never beforr

Just saw the SS activate in my match 2 minutes ago. Shooting and scoring from outside the box.

I saw the playmaker icon in a live match too, it was really a delightful pass. I shouted wow when I saw the Icon and the pass. It actually led to a goal too.

Sure, that why it is still a 'thesis' and not a confirmed theory.
If proper experimentation results show that the Shadow Striker Special Ability provides no advantage in terms of performance on the pitch, then we can say that it is just there for the visual effect. But, I highly doubt anyone has done proper experiments here, and also it is difficult and costly to do such things.

I believe live animation is just a visual effect. I just won the treble with live animation off since the start of the season. The game is pretty much basic but still I can understand its all those myths that keep it interesting

I saw all SA without Dribbler:

My wife has an awesome playermaker. He do it ~every 2nd game with a pass. But, if you wanna see it more often: Set your playmaker to corner and freekicks.
I just try some things about the SA: Got an AMC/MC with SS - he always plays MC (left side, mostly no arrow), scores 21 times (36 games), average rate: ~ 8,7. I think, every goal shows the SS even inside the box.

Have a ST/AMR/MR with Dribbler. Let him play at ST and AMR, 25 goals (25 games), average rate: ~9,3. But never saw the Dribbler. He also don't score in special ways - just "normal" as all others.

I think dribler is the only one that doesn't show the icon all the others do, playmaker doesn't show much most of the assists on my team come from corners or the wingers but my wingers are FK and SS.
