Day 2 - Palace Terriers Cup report.

A bit of pre-match trading in the Transfer Market brought in this defensive right-midfielder for 3T



Palace Terriers played their Cup 2nd Leg match at home, and won 4-0 to progress to the next round 8-1 on aggregate. Nikolay Radev scored once and assisted twice, then was injured (3 days). Defender Abdou Ewagnignon, and strikers Sergi Hernandez and Alessio Doratiotto scored the other goals.

Through to the next stage of cup by beating a friend on 5-0 aggregate. Its really a tough cup, but we should be able to scrape out results like Leicester.

What have you learned from last season? After 3 very difficult comebacks in three different rounds of the Cup, the lesson I learnt the most was to never give up and to try as hard as you can!
Where did you place last season? Triple Crown so nothing to complain here

What's your current level? 9
What's your budget for this season? I have in reserve 167M after renewing contracts + 600+ training packs and 268T. I plan to spend 50-75M$ +3-33T in signings and maybe a hundred or too in training packs to boost younger players.
Who do you want to replace? My defenders are all above 22 now and aren't evolving as much as before. Will look out for a CB or RB or both + new MC and/or AMC.
What are your goals for this season? Although I would love to make the 3rd triple crown in a row, I have some serious opponents at the Cup, so it might only be realistic to aim for CL + League (not bad I guess!)

It seems that this was intentionally done as some users have reported this observation.

Possible explanations are as follows.
(1) It was done on purpose to increase the amount of tokens spent globally (for instance, increase in panic, more rush, more bidding wars, more need to use the scout's list and/or the negociations' list, and so on, as many users that depended on first day 5-star 'nordgens' failed to get those).
(2) It was done on purpose to make the task of users who manipulated the Cup draw more difficult.

I add a 3rd possible explanation:
Nordeus only generates players based on a supply-demand law, i.e. In the beginning of each season (days 1 and 2 mostly) players will try to get rid of unwanted players as much as possible to get money to buy new ones. As a lot of players floods the market with players to bid for, there's no need for Nordeus to generate players.
