Where did I say the opposite? What you don't agree? You misunderstood what I have posted.
I said that there are cases where a team play seriously in the first 1-2 weeks, and then for whatever reason (for instance, the manager thinks that he can't win the particular league), he decide to tank, and this affects other teams in the league. For example, a team played against you early in the season, when he was playing seriously, but played one or both matches against other title challengers or promotion challengers when he was tanking. This is where it is unfair. This does not mean that the team intended to tank succeeded or deciding to tank in week 2 is appropriate or something like you said above.

The problem is when they already played against your team (1 or both matches) when they were playing seriously, but played the 'tanking' way against the challengers in your league. What if this cost you the 1st position or the 4th position? Do you see where the unfairness is in there?
To some extent, the same applies for teams that declare forfeit when they have to play against you, but played the matches against the other challengers. This is where some users have reported that the goal difference affected their teams' positions.
The above 2 cases are rare though, especially the 2nd case, but they do happen. This has already been reported by some users here in this forum.
