The Management is taking a bit of a back seat this season, as he has a holiday which brackets the last two weeks of the season, and doesn't expect to be able to get a reliable mobile broadband signal where he is going. Along with other things which have to happen before the well-earned vacation is embarked upon, there may be times where he goes AWOL for a while...
Good luck to everybody this Season!

I decided to experiment this season. Stock piled green packs last season after an early cup exit. I dumped them into two players. Power trained using new version using drills containing speed. My DL/DR now has 281% fitness and 274% speed. My ST has 234% fitness and 260% speed.
Day 1 - Palace Terriers preview and Cup report.
Palace Terriers start their 12th season at League Level 12.
Playing Squad stats and Career records
Terriers have qualified for the Champions League through their 1st place finish last season, and are in Group D in a competition with a varied range of Qualities.
Palace Terriers started their Cup competition at home against a Level 13 team with a slightly inferior Starting XI Quality, and ran out 3-0 winners. Roberto Pigatto Baratto (2) and Esneider Gil scored the goals, and the injuries have started early, Samir Gross suffering a 2-day injury.

I have not noticed any significant benefit in general. That is, those occasional cases where it seems that there was a significant benefit could be due to other factors.
More experimentation needed.
Also, you need to have controls. For instance, to eliminate whether the significant benefit in terms of performance was due to that superiority in some physical attributes only or was it due to the overall quality of the player.

Well, nordeus outdid themselves this time in my Champions League Draw.
25 League champions (all level 24)
1 2nd place team (level 24) - he's seeded as the 1st place team slot.
1 2nd place team (level 25)
1 3rd place team (level 25)
4 4th place team (level 25)
Amongst the level 25 teams are a pair of traditionally strong teams, whom finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the CL last season. Combined those two have 26 CL semi-final appearances and 10 titles. One is in Group D and the other Group E so i'll be watching the group stages to see if I can strategically find a path to the final that doesn't require going through them.
League quality doesn't matter either in creating the groups. I won the double last season and got seeded in the spot of a 4th place team. The team seeded in the 1st place slot, won a league with 2 coiners in it. Worse scenario is group E, as 1st, 2nd and 4th place seeds, all had 5* teams in tough leagues last season, and they have a quality level 25 grouped in with them.
As for the cup, I won 6-0 for 1st leg.

Level 40 Manager
Atlético Kolkata Day 1 Report
3-3 at home, not a decent result. I can't see any good goalkeepers on the market either. Torrano, Garayar, and David entered the scoresheet, with David assisting once. Pretty much everyone in the both sides had decent ratings (6.9+) barring the goalkeepers — Bava was 5.1, their keeper was 5.7.
I have a decent number of tokens, and I don't need much reinforcements, just a backup MC and a GK. I should head to the negotiations for a keeper ASAP.
AH AH — manager of Atlético Kolkata. Named in honour of my hometown club, Atlético de Kolkata, which won the inaugural edition of Indian Super League in 2014.
A good defence is the best offense.
