so, it wasn't a direct assist but for the deploy of the team ?
Your pm didn't got the assist (his name in the parenthesis beside the scorer) ?
At what moment the icon pop-up ?

No, not an direct assist, but the opener to counter.
And yes, he didn't got an assist - AML got it.
Icon popped up after the goal.

First pic shows the first match of the day. Goal after a corner, which was kicked by the PM (as you see, he also got the "normal" assist).


Second pic shows the rating of PM from 2nd game of the day - where I missed to screenshot two times the icon pop up (First time direct assist, second time was not direct). The opponent was slightly weaker (0,2 points difference), game was close (0:2 win).



But: That's the PM from my wife. My own pm showed ~4 times only the icon last season. Maybe it depents on the position? Mine is at DMC, her is at (left) MC. Maybe it depents on formation (I mostly play 4-5-1V or 3-5-2V - except cup ;p , she mostly plays ND)? Maybe she got an extreme talented pm?
And... the main question: Do you need a CK specialist, if there is a pm?

Today there were two games: My own and my friends cup.

Both PM are DMC and both triggert at the game... and I take the Screenshot - of both.

Second pic shows playmaker after direct assist. And his rating... and look at the strengh of the opponent.





I really don't know, how useful playmakers are... but I don't wanna miss them in my team.

Maybe this is the reason why pm SA cost 50 skill point and corner SA cost only 40 as pm can go well with corners as well as normal passes ??? But how effective can a pm be in comparison with ck SA ???

I don't know... but I try to find out. I've a CK and a PM - I set CK to left corner, PM right corner. After Week 2, I set them to the other side. It's impossible, that we will get an answer, that's 100% (not exactly same players, same opponents,...) true, but a small trend should be there.

At the moment (after four games/2nd week):
Both play MC
My PM: rating: 8-9-8-10; 4 goals, 5 assists (2 CK)
My CK: rating: 8-8-8-8, 0 goals, 2 assists (1 CK)


And another two PMs from today. First pic (my team) was direct assist for Shadow Striker , second pic (my wife) was normal (no counter) attack without direct assist.

Halftime at my small experiment:

At the moment (after 2nd week):
Both play MC
PM: average rating: 8,9; 7 goals, 10 assists (5 CK)
CK: average rating: 8,1, 1 goal, 6 assists (4 CK)

The rating of both at the three cupgames were only 7, no goals. Only PM had one assist.

Two weeks are over now, so here is the result:
(pls remember, Weak 3 has only 13 games, instead of 14)

PM: average rating: 9,0; 13 goals, 20 assists (14 CK)
CK: average rating: 8,0, 3 goal, 10 assists (7 CK)

The rating of PM was in cupgames 8,4 and 8,2, one goals, one assist (three goals at all).
CK: was 7,9 and 8,1, no goals, no assist.


So what to you think? Do we need CK? Is my PM really good?

The play-maker player performances looks good, especially when compared to what was seen here in the past where instead of getting assists, players with the play-maker special ability were getting yellow cards (which is nonsense). But, how many assists did he get from open play, that is not from corner, free-kicks and so on? Also, post the attributes profile for the play-maker.
