Day 22 - Palace teams report.

The Association that Palace Terriers are a member of embarked upon its quest for 3rd place, and Terriers turned their Association fortunes around with two wins, away 6-1, goals from Luca Giovanni Pidutti (2), Ronaldo Pigatto Baratto (2), Esneider Gil and Noy Hazarti, and at home, 3-0 with a slightly weakened squad. Esneider Gil got greedy in the latter match and grabbed the match ball with a hat-trick. The rest of the Association made hay as well, and the 3rd place honour was won by the astonishing score of 34 points to 1...



Palace Casuals achieved in one competition that that Terriers had failed to do, and won their Association Final. Casuals contributed two wins, 2-0 away, with Eirik Riis and Maarten Weigman scoring, and 1-0 at home, Riis scoring the vital goal in the 39th minute. A final score of 22 points to 7 gave the Association its first winners silverware.



Back to the League, and Terriers played at home against 11th place and won 6-0 to climb into 4th place. Midfielder Tyberiy Yarych bagged a brace, and Nikolay Radev, Ronaldo Pigatto Baratto, Noy Hazarti and Peter Jorgensen added the others.



Palace Casuals haven't been visited by the Troll recently, but if it were not for the smaller difference in quality, this match would have qualified as a Trolling. Playing away against 11th place, The visitors dominated from start to finish, but the rub of the green was not with them and an 83rd minute strike from a free-kick - Casuals' Defensive Wall specialist having been sent off earlier - condemned Casuals to a third successive defeat, which dropped them to 4th place.
