Been adding a few good manager that are higher level than me so i don't "risk" being drawn with them in the league.

There is a limit of about 100 friends through T11, you can then add beyond that limit adding friends via Facebook
Remember also maximum of+ 15 total possession bonus from manager, fans, tickets
I don't know how the limit is determined. As I remember, both my 2 teams used to have more than 100 friends. Their limits are different.
