Lol, I was sleeping yesterday apparantly. I thought my second team did fine in the CUP but we lost 4-0!!! Ouch. Totally equal quality wise. Almost same playing style. Had a little more possession without attending but my oh my did it went bad. He had more shots at target so he had the better side of the luck coin. His goalie also stopped every shot of mine. Lets hope on a 5-0 for next game (ahem).....
Now I check my normal team and they won 4-0 in the cup. No wonder I got stuff mixed up. Haha. My recommended players are doing fine. My main team got an AML/ST with FK SA. Trained him to 7 stars, made him striker and his stats right now are:
12 matches played
MoM: 2
Goals: 11
Assists: 3
This is in a hard league, equal CL and a not so hard cup so far.
In my second team I got an AMR/ST and made him AMR. He got the penalty kick SA. His stats so far are:
21 matches played
MoM: 5 times
Goals: 16
Assists: 5
Also in a hard league, but easy CL and a hard cup.
FC Knudde:
Seasons: 46
League won: 33
CL won: 10
Cup won: 4
FC Killroy:
Seasons: 32
League won: 20
CL won: 6
Superleague: 3
Cup won: 7

Sometimes recommendations are good players that you need. And if someone has some spare tokens it can be a good investment.
Last year I bough an ST,AMC , FK specialist, 19yo. I assigned him also MC which was the position I was searching for a player.
It was a bet, but I draw lucky and he is one of my best players, with many assists and goals, especially from FKs.
Usually FK and CK SA, that has been assigned from nordeus to the player, is applicable.
Also in my second team, tokens needed.for the best out of 4 recommendations is low, because you start with low star team.
So in first levels where money is.not enough to get full.nordgens players, recommendations with low tokens and.no money are value for.money.
Of course feature is a joke but someone can still benefit from it
If you need a player in the position(s) offered and can't get one in TM or Negotiations then they can be good buys - but only, in my experience, the one on the right, the high T one, will be any good.

Desert Rats FC played away at 7th place in the League, and were fast out of the blocks, putting pressure on the home defence for long periods without much success. The pressure told on 27 minutes, when right-winger Emerson de Alencar Arraes had a free-kick on the right, and swung the ball over to central midfielder Ireneusz Jezierski, who put the ball in the net to open the scoring. Seven minutes later, the midfield club got into the action again, Glenn Seynaeve beating the defence to a long pass from the Rats defence and sliding the ball between post and 'keeper. After that, the visitors' game fell strangely flat, and the home side took advantage to pull a goal back three minutes before half-time. The second-half was a drab affair as both sides cancelled each other out, Desert Rats winning 2-1 at the final whistle.
The Champions League situation turned out to the Management's satisfaction, the expected order in Group F being achieved.
