Quick update prior to the last week of the season.

In the championship I managed to escape 3 points once again after an unexpected draw last week, my main opponent drew as well. This basically means that I have a buffer of one defeat in the last 6 matches.



In the Champions League I qualified to the semis (the opponent just sent me a friend request today, maybe he's trying something cheeky? )


Finally, we managed to win the promotion to the Silver 2 division following a 1st place at this weekend's Association tournament.

Pulled off a major upset in associations. Looks like he's changed his tactic for the 2nd leg to something that is designed to prevent counter-attacks, so I doubt lightning strikes twice. But at worst, I split the points, which considering the quality means I did my job .

In the first round, you took out the association I'm in. I'm not very active in associations but play just to collect any rewards. But still cool to cross another forum member.

The first day of last week started very good:

We had a FA weekend with exploiter, again. We made a relly good Semi-Final against the "weaker" exploiter.
Todays final seemed to be really hard - I had to play vs 25% stronger team, BUT our FA made a fantastic 1.leg (home) -> we took the lead 18:0. Really don't know, how we did it, but everything looked perfect.

2.leg (away) was okay, I lost my game... I got no controll (23:8 shots, 11:3 SoT to him... ) - we won homeleg 3:0 (17:13 shots, 9:5 SoT to me...). how is such a difference possible?
Finally we won 27:9. Now we have 1397 pts and we'll promote to platinum.


At league, we won vs last good opponent (except the chinese), so next three days will decide, how many trophies we take:

Tomorrow and Wednesday, we play CL vs an evenly FA-member. I'm sure, the winner will win the trophy, because on the other side, both teams around 40% weaker than us (thx to this ... CL-draw).
Tuesday we play against the chinese-guy and cup-final.

Next few days will be hard and interesting... hope, I can sleep.

Just a little story about my CL-opponent = FA-member:

We met each other first time at Cup at season 4 - it was the last cupwin for next 4 seasons. He killed my winning streak of 28 (it wasn't/isn't the record). He impressed me, so after the release of FA, I invited him and he stays until now.
Next time, we met each other was again in the cup, at season 8. We beat him twice, we won the cup after three season without that trophy. After that, he made nearly every day, where he had only one game a friendly against me. He got better and better, at season 10+11, we played at the same cup, but both times he got kicked out before we faced each other. At season 12, he won every friendly against me. We played at cup semi against each other. I was really afraid and I didn't wanted to play against him, but my team made a great first leg - we won 3:0. 2.leg, he managed to beat us 1:0 and killed a 31 winning streak.

Today, we played at CL-semi against each other, he made no friendlies this season. But we talked a lot at chat, so I was quite nervous. 30min before the game started, he set his formation and it was... I was shocked. He played a formation, I never faced, I hadn't any experiences... so, what to do?
I went risky, I tried a formation, I tought, we can do it...

Long story, short meaning:

we made a great game. We won 7:1 at home, so I think CL semi is taken, one more night to sleep. ;p


But tomorrow will be a really hard day. First we play vs our chinese-league-rival, 3 hours later we play cupfinal.

What a wierd thing, and it has happened before. First half no acttion is recorded.. Like no action at all...
