Season 88 - Are you ready?

Tough one for my group as there will be three 5* teams (and I have my own Revenge with Juis FC which robbed me from CL title some seasons ago) jockeying for the first 2 spots while an underdog (Skin Fc) looking to pick up the slacks

Had a good start of the season. Won all cup games so far. My sub team got a good offer from recommended players. Really needed an AMR and got an offer for 44 tokens for a six star AMR/STR with penalty kick SA. 100 green packs later I have a 7 star AMR. Wooooot.

I am however thinking about taking a break. Let the team do its stuff and not commit much time to the game. I still have no feeling of control whatsoever. I still have no idea what SA does. I still have no clue about the tactics what would work best. I have used the same tactic with 2 teams over 7 seasons now and got 5 league titles with both, about 3-4 CL titles and even won 3 cup titles. I have a feeling it doesn't matter what you do.

Desert Rats FC played their Cup First Round 2nd Leg at home, and took it easy in the first-half. Left-winger Gary Cusack opened the scoring three minutes after the break, tapping in a cross from opposite winger Emerson de Alencar Arraes. In the absence of primary penalty taker Matt Goggin through injury, Cusack got the opportunity to put his SA to work in the 74th minute when a foul in the box gave the hosts a Penalty kick, and he coolly slotted the ball past the visiting custodian to increase the lead. Five minutes later, de Alencar Arraes curled in a free-kick, before Cusack notched up his hat-trick with five minutes to go to make the final score 4-0. The Rats go through to the next Round 6-0 on aggregate.

Sold one of my key players (Gareth Bale ^^) today grabbing 10 tokens and a great amount of money via negotiations.

Not bad at all, selling at the right moment for a great deal is something that I like

Yeah, I already sold 3 players for a total of 17 tokens. Waited as they reach their top line of 5* at the previous level, and the offers at the beginning of a new season came immediately. Really nice business since I no longer needed them 😉
