How can 3 stars player be better than 5 stars?

Guys this isn't the real football IMHO.
A 7* player should play better than a 3* player......
Sadly in my experience some scout are a totally waste of money.....
I've sold a 4* dc that was a beast..goals, a WALL in front of my GK......I miss him.....

I have a 2 star striker, was a pain in the ass teaching him "One on one scorer ability"..But he still gets more goals than my 4 star MC (he's around 24-5 y/o), 5 star AMR, 4 star AML (both 21 y/o) and 4 star ST that's about to retire

I have the most expensive valued 18yr old MC (scout lvl) in my team&league, but despite that his performance in every game is below 6.... So yes, sometimes it doesn't make any sense.
