but with this I should forget to buy player low cost in the market ( player 27 old ) etc..

Why would you bother spending more tokens just to get better younger players for this competition when the prize/s are only a few tokens anyway?

Completely pointless.
The prize payouts aren't worth the effort.
I think the competition is just to make things spicy.
The tokens are few, but ok it is just a mini competition.
Personally I will try for 10T and 1st place for both my teams.
Also if anyone does not like it simply can ignore it.
This mini-competitions have a great potential, as have no extra feature dev they just run in parallel with the rest
I like the new competition. It is nice :)
I think my lineup will be more attacking given the mini-competition

The update announcement said there were two editions. If this is one, I wonder what the second edition is.
Maybe this is in response to the suggestions that top league players gets some prize. I personally would have preferred at the end of the season, the team(s) with top scorer, top rated, and top assists gets some prize regardless of age. But I don't think this is terrible (unless you like fielding a team of oldies).

Quick reaction from Nordeus to the growing number of managers buying only old high 5 star players to stay competitive using less tokens. Obviously this is a measure against this tendency. Personally I won't pay too much attention to this competition and will stay much more concerned by the inevitable - having another bunch of 13 heavy tokenbuyers in my league come tomorrow morning
Sometimes... I wonder, what kind of stupid people are at this forum (sorry, for that hard wording, but...)
Nordeus gives us a new, small, additional competition, it costs NOTHING, it goes side by side with normal playing. You can get +10T extra for free. If you do NOTHING, you also get at least 1T. These tokens, are additional, and you stupid people talk about worthless, etc.
I'm also not happy, it's only U23, because all my top offensive players (Costa, da Silva, Eisner, Alvarez,...) are older than 23. Only Meiringer (ST) is left. But I don't buy a new AMx/ST... I'm happy, I'm able to get an additional amount of tokens.
Some of you should rethink yourselves.

Our aim was to provide more variety and fun for you folks - especially for seasoned players who'd love to have more challenges. We plan on providing you with a variety of contests like this, hopefully you'll like some of the upcoming things we've prepared as well.

I wanted to tank this season but, this feature has spiced-up the things for me a little bit as, my starting line-up is U-21 atm.
But,the only real concern i have is for how long this will be continued??

We're still looking at your feedback and the numbers and having loads of discussions internally. Trust me when I say that we're not ignoring you, but even the system itself needs a few weeks to stabilise the internal economy as people are figuring out the best ways to bid.

Very interesting point, this is the first time we're doing this and the initial plan was to have a variety of different challenges of time and not make one type of challenge like the U23 one a permanent feature. In any case - do share your thoughts, as we'll be taking them and discussing them among us as we're trying to improve the experience of those challenges for all of us.

Potential winnings of up to 10 tokens for a six day challenge are quite attractive, bearing in mind the sponsorhsip is only 35 tokens/seasons, and most association rewards are 50 or fewer tokens.
