I think loosing 1:5 to a team that are only 0.1% better than your team and a possession on 47% - 53% is a troll result. I just do not see the realism in that result.. I had trained and rested as much as I could. I did not attend the match because I have a life to live as well, but I try to attend what I can. The algorithm in the game is whack and so it has been for the past year or more. And yes of course I am salty when I loose, but that is part of the game. But that result I feel like was designed to just ruin my day.
I hardly had a draw today against a team of 9 players (2 red cards) in the CL.

Sorry, but this sucks a lot. I'm usually not the kind of guy who is whining about every single loss and I do appreciate an opponent manager doing great work and setting up his team perfectly so he is able to gain an advantage against my team. But since the last major 2018 update I'm struggling and I really don't know what a) I'm doing wrong or b) what did change regarding tactics and counter tactics and how I can adjust to these changes. The results just seem more random than before. Additionally I had another unexpected loss today in my league and I'm just frustrated.
I've read a lot of postings and threads from frustrated managers these few weeks and I stayed positive but right now I guess I do just want to vent my feelings as well...

I always find myself in this condition. My starts are really terrible but my team picks up before 4-5 games and end the season good. Is this a problem with top eleven or with the team because I train well, go play really good formations, buy good players but still get such results at the start of the seasonQuote:

This season none so far, one semi-troll result. Best thing about it is that it is my only loss this season with goal difference 29-1 after 6 games. Opponent was almost 40% lower than me.

It is not a troll result but a troll management by the game.
There is an opponent manager that is weaker than me about 20%; last season he won the league and I could never beat it in the two games despite I have dominated in possession and shots., two ridicolous draws-
In this season I have encountered him in cup:
1) first match, he scores at the first minute, so immediately he played in defensive mode, then I have a penalty and my player (never miss a penalty) have missed, final result 2-3;
2) second match, he also scored at the first minute, so again in defensive mode, results 1-2.
Anyway, I can accept that true soccer is unpredictable, but it's ridicolous that in 4 games not even a victory against an opponent weaker than 20%.
One games? Ok, 4? No.
His team is at 99%, but players are poor, ecxept for the two ST/wings:

Very poor skills, except speed, strengh and fitness; shot and finalisation are ridicolous, my defenders have good speed, about 150%.
I can't accept that 4 games are decided by this troll parameters, the sense of play is lost.
It is useless train players in other skills if only this 3 can decide a match against an opponent much stronger than you.
I repeat, I accept one or two bad results against weaker teams, but not like that.
It's like Juve plays against Crotone 4 times, and never won because in Crotone play Carl Lewis and Usain Bolt.

I see from your yesterday post, your opponent seems quite active to change formation, how can he not change anything when he down 0-2?

To clarify the theory the engine favors these type of players:
one of two bug players from your picture is 18yo, so last season he won over you with just one bug player, right?

I follow this manager from last season, where he had only one of these two players.
This season he has encountered stronger opponents like me (122%) or Guney Spor (117%) and others in cup and Champions, and he never lost.
The quality of his team now is 100%.
Your arguments are good in case of similar or almost similar strength. This is not the case.
120 vs 100? It' like Juve, Napoli or Roma against Crotone.
If you are Crotone, you can set tactics, formations and orders that you want, but in 10 games, you can draw or win 1 game, all other times you lose.
His results demonstrates that the game engine favors this type of players, It seems obvious to me.
I shouldn't complain because I won 2-1 but it was a troll result against a team in the cup that was playing an irregular formation (too many players on the flanks 2DL/R 2ML/R 2AML/R and he did not have any DC.) This should have been an easy win if the game worked like the rules say it should work.

I'm 124% with a half-mutant 73% 30 yo player, my ST (140%) has 300-300-300 FK, my defenders having 200ish def and 250ish phys attributes... 1-0 and a smooth 3-0 loss (against my finnish TE buddy)???? WHERE is the logic behind this? I'm leading my league only with Goal diffs thanks to the fact my Mauritian oppo who beat me did a draw against 3rd place guy...

Fake ND: one of my AM playing near ST position and my main ST playing low position for making 2ST feeling :) another AM playing real AMC position of course. And instead of flank i chose middle attacking :)
What do you guys do when your team doesn't shoot on target?
I put so much effort into this game only to get draws like this..

I won the first full leg in the season, 14 games, 14 wins with high scores no problem. Then I lose 2 games, one against the 2nd team which had a FREAKLOAD of friends watching, so I completely lost possession at home to a +15% for him.
Then, I lose this on FULL condition and FULL morale. Opponent not ****ing watching.
After 3 years I'm still trying to figure out how this ****ty game is working. And please, don't say that even in reality strong teams lose because it's a sad excuse for a poor engine that punishes too much when you concentrate on the game

This happened in the cup. The first game was like impossible, then the second leg an easy 6-0 for no reason.
It is completely unpredictable and I've been saying this for years now. Happens in real football too, look at PSG-Barca? Bull****, that result was exceptional and historical. In TE happens everyday to someone.

Look at the 100 season challenge. I could score up to 100 goals easily, then I can't score against those teams to which I scored 9 or 10 goals in the first leg of the league. Now instead I lose.
Thankfully I'm not eliminated from the cup, but look at this!
First game, both managers present, easy game, I win 1-6.
Second game, only me present, seemingly easy game, lots of possession, he almost manages to kick me out of the cup.
