How many troll results you had this season ?

Every single non win matches this season are troll results. That was enough to force me out of this game.

I win = normal, as expected, standard

I don't win = TROLL

ok, let's make some things more clear (and maybe I could give some hints)

We cannot talk about troll if for example we have 10-20% more quality.
One star difference makes me think, ok this is a game I must win.
But not secure at all.

A 5* team with players in normal position, is able to win every match or oppo, no matter his quality.
Be careful what I 'm writing, not to win the League, but to win in one game vs every top dog opponent.

There are troll results in every season but I never saw a troll team to win a League or a Champions League.
I suppose that the teams which had less (or none) troll results, were able to won the trophies.
(considering that there are 3-4 teams with active managers and good q teams).

ok, opponent manager isn't present and we are, coaching there.
But are we sure that the orders we 're giving are the right ones ?
or at the right time ?
There are little "secrets" that many people ignore.
For example, if we set the same formation vs (lower q) opponent, the game mechanism won't ignore them and pass to compare the quality as we think,
but those games usually ending with a role dice, 50-50, ignoring the quality of the teams.
But I 've seen many times a formation advice, to set the same formation with your oppo.

Also it's known that there is a flaw, a strange reaction of the game.
When oppo looses a player (playing with 10), usually scores - lol.
The same with the subs.
Those trigger some reaction in the game (usually positive for us).

Some times the mechanism stuck in the 1st formation/orders/team and continue this calculation , like a vinyl deck stylus stuck.
So now with the upcoming competition (subs scoring), be careful if thinking to start with 2-3 weak players and replace them asap with your top players.
You 'll have a big surprise

A troll result isn't always bad. Imagine that you 're second in your league and the 1st has an easy upcoming schedule the next few days.
Some times, a troll result gave me the title

Ok, the first time it was a troll, we made bad decision , it wasn't our day.
But how this s... can happen again, two days after ?

Ok, teh first time it was a troll, we made bad decision , it wasn't our day.
But how this can s.. happened again two days after ?

I agree. That's the most annoying part for me. I can understand one upset in a knockout - and I am talking at least 20 - 30% difference. Anything less, could go either way imo.

But 2 consecutive upsets, in spite of win bonuses, morale, condition & whatnot - that's just ridiculous.

True. And like I keep saying, one can't expect guaranteed wins just cause they have a higher rating.

But, all the factors you mentioned, are largely speculation. I could be wrong, but I'm yet to see any definitive data or player testimony that any of those factors have any influence on the game whatsoever.

For stats, there doesn't seem to be a concensus whether they matter or its just the overall player rating that is used in the calculations.

Do SA's work? Again, I haven't seen a practical difference in players with or without SA's.

Form does play a role, I think. But morale doesn't, as far as I've seen. So there isn't any particular way to turn a player's form around, is there? Or am I missing something?

And at the end of the day, when talking troll results, it's usually seasoned managers I'm assuming, who have put together tried & tested strategies & strong, fit teams, with a serious game plan to win their respective competitions, who are most affected by such recurring 'off days' I'm betting.

indeed Kto, those are some factors that make you think but except grey/white stats, all the others were an old issue of the game.
Now we must focus more
- if troll results have increased the latest months
- if there is a weird unbalanced SoT & shots efficiency (or other stats)
- if the presence of one manager, increases the chance of a troll result.

well, I can see from your pic that there isn't much difference in quality (it's only 10%).
There is a dif. in b.p. 64-36 but he had more shots.
That's the most important for me.
I 'm looking only to that.
Stopped before a long time , when start having a lot of friends/supporters and the b.p. numbers were distorted.

13 vs 16 shots with this b.p. ?
That's weird. Something wrong happened.

* if it was a trivial question, I would answer that oppo used a couple of players out of position (so got a b.p. penalty) but they performed well.

In first 35min , all my 1vs1 shots were off target.
Oppo scored a penalty and a FK and before 35min score was 0-3
Push him hard, made it to 2-3 before half time.

Then oppo played 5-1-4 (no am or st) and I could no score.....

Despite the oppo's rating were ****... oh yes except his GK.

ok, that's one case (and I was there, in that match as supporter).
Of course oppo manager was there, making subs, had a similar quality team (and 4th league position) but those stats looks broken.
64-35 b.p. (isn't it too much ?)
20-12 shots & 9-4 SoT (almost double)
but 22-75 efficiency ?

and those rates (for the winner) looks more weird

Even if the general idea is that was a normal game (the 1st vs the 4th, same q teams, both present) , looking at that picture it seems like a troll result.
