Manipulating the draw / contracts

I assume right, that players whos contracts run out and who are formally not part of the team at 1st day are not counted in top14?

I don't know anything about that whether the players, whose contracts are end, counted in top 14 or not but 2* and 3* works well to do that. Is it strongest 14 that determines draw?

Does only strongest 14 count or do all the players count?

Only 14. If madflo is right, my policy of the last few seasons was wrong (giving a boost at start of the season to the players, whose contracts run out)

Ah well thanks! Reading helps. (So my plan to bring 1-2 star players through many seasons is pointless, if I always have 17-19 "main squad players")

It is sad to see people have to bite the bullet and sack their squad to prevent +1 competition..
