    LEAGUE ROUND 1.

Result: TANICHA FC 0-5 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Bentley 23, Bentley 41, Morgada 42, Gomez 46, Manning 60
    M.o.M: Hector Morgada (LC)

We got our league campaign off to a good start, with this comfortable away victory. Marcus Bentley got the first goal, midway through the first half. A three goal blitz in five minutes, either side of halftime, by Bentley, Hector Morgada and Pablo Gomez, made the game virtually safe. Clayton Manning bagged our fifth on the hour to finish the scoring. There was still time for home player, Mario Puncec to receive a second yellow card, leaving our hosts to play the final 24 minutes, with ten men.

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND 1.

Result: LONDON CITY 2-2 TAK FC
    Goals: Ruiss 14, Misirli 46, Duran 55, Gomez 61pen
    M.o.M: Sascha Ruiss (TAK)

We made a stuttering start to the CL competition, and never really got into our stride against probably the toughest of our group opponents. Sascha Ruiss put the visitors ahead after just 14 minutes, and the score remained until the break. We made a change for the second half, by replacing Bjorn Lanwer, with our new afternoon signing, Jake Brown. Straight from the restart, Jeremy Misirli doubled TAK's lead, and we were really struggling. Lukas Duran went on a solo run, and pulled a goal back, ten minutes later. Six minutes later, Pablo Gomez scored from the penalty spot, to give us a vital draw. Hopefully the team will be more lively for the next group game.

In other news, 19yo MR Jake Brown, was signed today to replace the departing Larry Redknapp.

My GK got injured in the 13th min. I don't have a sub GK so i had to put my DC Pique as my GK and he did a great job. Won CL 6-1

played our first league match today, was going to play a decent team with a Q of 46.7 (my Q is 46.5). so I logged in few minutes before the match just to see that he bought 6 scout players that boosted his Q to 51+ and made this match very difficult as it was at his stadium. he watched the whole match, had a full stadium with all his fans but money can't buy you managerial skills boy! my 4-4-2 didn't work so I changed it to 4-5-1 with 3 MC, AML and AMR just to see him freeze without any subs while his 1-0 turned into 2-1 for me at the 88th minute. I got 2 words for this kid: **** you.

champions league match went much better against an average team with Q of 39, we won 3-0 at home and didn't struggle much doing so.

on a different note, Evans our new MR for this season keeps proving himself as an excellent corner taker even though he's not a corner specialist. so far we played 5 matches this season (including 1 friendly) and he assisted 6 times in those from corners, including the super important one on the 88th minute of the league match, so he will continue taking them on.

hope we're off for a good season with that start.

July Fourth 7-0 Sorasak FC Champions League Group F Round 1
July Fourth 106.9 3N-1-3W-1-2 - Sorasak FC 91.1 Wierd Asymmetrical Formation.

July Fourth started this seasons CL Campaign with an unusual high scoring win after in previous seasons we seem to struggle in Round 1 of the group stage and tend to win by the odd goal or 2, this time we lit up the competition immediately and casting out our strength to everyone else in the CL this season. It took 16 minutes for Papaleo to get through on goal and pass to L.McNamara to tap in for the lead, Just after the half hour Michu's corner found Novotny who headered in. Novotny was booked early in the second half which saw one of the visitors players go off injured, Miku found Papaleo to shoot past the helpless keeper. Michu scored with a solo effort on 62 minutes and looked certain to score again on 73 minutes but a advancing keeper ment he needed to pass to O'Sullivan for his first July Fourth goal, Then after a few substitions were made, Hardy scored directly from a free-kick and then there was time for Norris to power a shot into the goal, Miku could of made it 8-0 on 88 minutes with the final attack but put it over the bar...

    Goals: L.McNamara (16) Novotny (31) Papaleo (52) Michu (62) O'Sullivan (73) Hardy (84) Norris (86) MOTM: Michu.
