6-0 in league.... 2 more points then second place, we are 1 st (19-1)
League, Matchday 4
Holzhacker FC [4-5-1 V] 1 - 5 New Team [3-2-2-2-1]
We had a taste of the lately off game engine ourselves this time, but we managed to pull it out. An average opponent (25.5) with a natural counter formation to our usual 4-1-2-1-2. Due to this, we were forced to use almost the same formation decided for the later cup match, with Ivor Hardy playing OOP as DML. We started with a large ball possession (which endured for all the match) while, tho, like last times the shoot counter rising was our opponent's and not ours, despite the miriad of actions from New Team showed in the live report. We even took an unneeded counter which almost let us give away the first goal. But Hutton proved again to be the right choiche as forward when getting past his marker forces him to foul inside the area, earning a penalty which the specialist Clifford Yuma scores for the 0-1 (33'). Seeing as the 3-2-2-2-1 doesn't offer many solution near the goal before half time Coach Mad anticipates his choiches getting in Lenders and Becker for the Derrick's twins, moving the formation into a 3-2-2-1-2 which proves to be a very effective counter formation as the opponent's shoots and actions ista stopped. Before half time Hutton receives from Becker and takes the second point off the guests (40'). In the second half the new module keep being effective and New Team increases his pressing on the goal. From a corner kick after a perfect shoot from Hutton, Yuma centers perfectly and Diamond doesn't miss his chanche heading in the 0-3 (50'). Hutton again easily gets rid of the defenders, surpassing even the keeper and tapping in the game-closing 0-4 (55'). The 3 man defender line proves once more to conceide a bit too much by letting the opponents score on a corner kick with Ribac (65'). Near the end is Oliver Hutton again receiving the perfect pass from Lenders and avenging his comrades for the final 1-5. New Team is now alone at first place already with a 22 scored/2 against goal difference.
Scorers: O.Hutton (3), C.Yuma (Pen.), Paul Diamond, R.Ribac.
MoM: O.Hutton (9), New Team.
Cup, Qualifiers, 2nd Leg
New Team [3-2-3-2] 2 - 1 Chelsea FC [3-5-2 Flat]
We can safely assure now that 3N-DML/DMR-3N-2 and 3N-DML/DMR-2N-1-2 are the perfect counters for the so hated 3-5-2 Flat.
A match in which despite the result we practically dominated both on plays and occasions, and only the good keeper (decisive on 3 free kicks) and some bad luck avoided a much larger result. Not much to say as we held the ball for 60% of time in the first half and 58% in the second, giving little to none chanches to the still strong opponents. We had a pressuring start reducing the english team into eleven defenders and forcing them to resort to fouling as only way to stop our players. Both at minute 23 and 36 the refree shows the yellow card to Chelsea FC's defenders, and on both free kicks the keeper managed to save the score deflecting on corner kicks. For the whole first half we couldn't find the goal despite the many occasion. In the second half we forced some substitutions due to the not complete recover of the team from the League's match, and we kept pushing going ahead at minute 48 with a long ranged shoot by Patrick Everett. Right when we seemed to be about to score the second, the just entered Paul Diamond committed New Team's very first foul getting the yellow card (our only carded player in cup, what a coincidence) and of course, after their keeper taking everything from free kicks, they got the equalizer on it with S.Stanimir (76'). Although they didn't have much time to party as Oliver Hutton proved immediatly later the difference between us and them following Mason's ride-through and being ready to tap in his last passage for the final 2-1 (78'). New Team accesses next round with a 6-2 aggregate.
Scorers: P.Everett, S.Stanimir, O.Hutton.
MoM: Clifford Yuma (9), New Team.
We are glad that finally Oliver Hutton stated adapting and scoring, along with noticing with joy that Johnny Mason (Hutton V1) still has his charme into his plays. We are now waiting to see the result of Alex FC which lost first leg home 1-2. His second account (Q45 as his first, scouts only) managed an easy win 8-1 against a much weaker team to which he had lost first leg. Along him, AC Bar Aurora (Q 41) and Kaiserslauten (Q43) both easily accessed the finals. Gonna be tough from now on.
After the 0-0 tie in the first cup game, my teams performance improved a bit and they won 5-0, despite using the same formation and orders as in the home game. I was using 4-2mc-2amc-2 against a qualitatively weak butterfly (weak striker and AML/R), attacking through the middle.
League went 4-0 against one of the better inactive teams using 3-5-2 V-Style against a mediocre quality 3n-1-4-1-1, securing position 1 in the league so all in all it was a good day.
Tomorrow Ill have a match against a full scout team in CL (well, 5 scouts and 8+ former scouts from last season who are now 5 stars with SA) so Im expecting to receive a thorough beating. Since the other 2 in my CL group are inactive, that wont stop me from advancing and getting some more cash in CL.
League isnt in the bag either since one of the league teams is a bit stronger than mine, but he managed to draw a game already against a weaker team. Plus you never know when one of the other teams decides to spend his money and tokens for a big improvement.

Just got booted from the Cup. Never won the thing anyway... At least i went out fighting with a 2-2 tie at my home stadium after a 3-1 loss away in the first leg, against a level 8 team. I'm level 5.
Since this season i didn't go to the CL, after finishing 8th last season (on purpose, and almost accidently made it to 7th) now i can concentrate on the League. However, i seem to be struggling to get minimal margin victories or ties.
What are my chances, since since last season, team quality and formations are all, apparently, out of whack and count little (within reason) towards the match result?
Already have a tie against Alvaro FC... 1-1

Any ideas on what to do to improve this?!

Balkan Boyz - Matchday 5 (Sz.4 - lvl4)
HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz advances after a dramatic CUP qualifier
Balkan Boyz (Q40,6) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond) vs Robelix FC (Q36,2) Formation: 4-3-3 (4-3-2-1 in 2nd half) ¨
Scorers: E.Džeko (26min.ass:H.Salihamidžić)
Subs: H.Salihamidžić <> I.Olić and A.Halilović <> X.Shaqiri
Balkan Boyz completed a dramatic CUP qualifier after a early goal by Edin Džeko in the 1th half and therefore advanced to the CUP- playoffs for the first time in the Clubs history. The Dutch opposition - Robelix FC - played quite well, but just couldn't resist the offensive football and the high pressure pressing in front of their own goal the whole 90 minutes. The Balkan Boyz youngster, Stevan Jovetić had a great chance to extend our lead and score for 2-0 at the end of the 1th half, but their defense did a great job to clear the dangerous corner-kick by Nemanja Vidić. Also, our midfielder and play-maker, Safet Sušić made a heroic effort when he challenged and blocked a clear shoot by their ST in the 54th minute, but caused us a free kick. Despite that, our goalkeeper Asmir Begović did a terrific save and cleared the ball to a corner which our new-signed talent Ognjen Vranješ managed to clear out from danger.
Also, The Balkan Boyz management wish to thank their Italian & German friends for their support during the game!
HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz pull off sensational transfer deal after a bidding war
Balkan Boyz completed a £21million signing of the Bosnian national team defender Ognjen Vranješ this afternoon. The 18-year-old defender is expected to take a place in the first squad and therefore replace Branislav Ivanović. O.Vranješ made his first debut today against Robelix FC in the CUP qualification. According to Manager -Ljepoje-, O.Vranješ is expected to develop as a DR as well by tomorrow and hit quality 45 by Sunday, and a quality of 50 by Monday. This means that Ognjen Vranješ and Stevan Jovetić will become "Superstars" and prehaps the best valued players in the Clubs history.
