Season 107 - Are you ready?

Played final game in assos and we managed to sneak 3rd. I won 5 1 yay after losing 3 0 to same team 2 hours earlier. Asso games are so random they make no sense at all. The engine is so different to other normal matches it's frustrating to watch.

Onwards and upwards. Hope everyone had a good season 107. And if not 108 is just about to begin anyway. Best of luck all.

Had suprisingly easy League victory against teams that I've never been 1st while being in the same League. Also won Super League despite nearly managing to blow a 4-0 aggregate lead in the 2nd semi-final leg.



The challenge was for wrong category.



E: Association won division too, so not a bad season at all.

Won the league and cup. Won on PK's in cup final.

Lost CL final as a 23.6% favorite on PK's to the captain of my association. He got treble.

Had a 13-1-2 overall record in assoc this season as we held platinum and finished the season @ 1694 points.

All three managers I dropped points against were playing defensive in attacking formations (3w-1-2n-3w-1 (0-2), 3n-1-4-1-1 (2-2), and 4-2n-3w-1(0-2)). All of those matches were first leg. I've long suspected nordeus doesn't know the difference between an attacking and defensive formation, and this further leads me to believe that.

Regular season -with me not agree after all- that will keep the main team out for a while after too many seasons facing higher levels and a simulator imo broken.

Enzo García will retire at 34 after 51 matches, he has been a player bought at 27 or 28 years, that played mainly as a sub, having shadow striker sa, he was determinant in many matches.

scored x6 in 30 league matches, and x2 in 11 of super league. His positive impact helped us dominate some sl matches.

Overall, it was a good season.

I shouldn't be pissed off I know, I won both cups, but that just made it even more frustrating to lose the league by 1 point, after I built the best team in the league, 2 dodgy results in the middle scuppered me. I got my 1st taste of association play in a group that doesn't seem like the others bother too much but it's been a very good season for my learning curve(at level 6 in 7th season, didn't help my son at all in season 1 and he finished 13th), I finally feel I've got to grips with the training, and actually seen players improve by more than they'll lose, looking forward to filling a couple of gaps in the new transfer market. went from 72% at start of season to 110% by the end. The striker I got for IC cup runner up has been disappointing, not scored a single league or cup goal, only scored in games without a record, beat the nations, asso games etc..i'm hoping he kicks into gear next season. All in all a good season, I feel a bit worn out with the time I spend on it tho, couldn't they give us a couple of days break lol
