Hey guys, wondering if any of u can give me advice on wat u think will win me matches, n also score more goals, im level 4, dreamer, hav a 30 ****, all my players r **** quality, i hav them wiv full condition and always superb moral, i play team ment-normal, focus passing-mixed, pressing style-own halve, tackling style-hard, passing style-mixed, marking stlye-zonal, i dont use either force counter attacks or man mark, i play a straigh 4-4-2 and hav the wingers using red forward arrows, nuthin else, i seem 2 really struggle to score, and concede most games, so im always having 2 score more than 1 most games, alot of my opps in both league and champs r alot weaker than my side, but always seem 2 score, i hav plenty of shots on goal and target, its gettin very annoyin tbh, 2morrow i play a team than has 9 **, 1***(def), 1****Striker), they play also a 4-4-2, im home on paper shud b a win, but i know from past games its gunna b a struggle, so any advice wud b more than welcome, thanx.


Well seeing as none of the 38 people who visited my post replied i thought id try again, i won the match a paltry 1-0, had 75/25 possession but didnt get a dominated match reward, i had no 1 on 1´s, they had 2 that they thankfully missed else i wud of lost, i dont know wat i hav 2 do to score more than 1, oh n he played the last 25 mins wiv 10 men afta an injury, they had the same amount of shots as me and they were away, i cant get my head round it at all.

if you choose to not change your formation, then you will subject to many close games, as many people will change their formation to counter your 4-4-2. 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond almost always beats 4-4-2.

SOrry, I dont play 4-4-2 myself so I couldnt tell you how to play it better, but I am a huge fan of 4-5-1 V, and even that beats 4-4-2 more often than not.

My advice, look into other formations occasionally.

as above said, i had none of my striker`s score in first 6 games once but seemed to result odd result in favour thanks to midfield and my striker`s were decent rating too but i went into transfer market and got new striker and it paid off, so try refresh area/area`s if can

Well thanx for the above advice, least sum1 has the decency 2 reply, i honestly dont think my formation is the prob, i´ve played the same formation for the previous 3 seasons and i´ve had promtion these past 3 seasons, 2nd, 3rd and 3rd, and as ive sed in previos posts i´ve been beaten 2 top spot by scout bought teams, all quality 40 and above, and u can play 10 defenders and u´ll still loose, i´m building my team slowly, dont see the fun of spending loadsa cash 2 hav a top quality side and win all ya games and hardly concede a goal, i hav 4 strikers all of the same quality who i often rotate so i dont need 2 buy anymore, as i sed apart from 3 players who r quality 29, i hav a squad of 4 star 30 plus quality players, and most teams in my league uses 4-4-2, i dont buy dmf,amf aml/r, so not in2 playin people out of posssision, and not really intersted in buyin 1 of these positions just for maybe q handful of games a season, thanx for ya advice tho boys.

Like I have said in previous posts, many people prefer to play 4-4-2 because it is a formidable formation against any other formation as long as you have quality players....BUT, it has weaknesses that can be exploited. Putting your head in the sand and saying that you dont think the formation is the problem is not a good thing considering I have only lost to 4-4-2 twice in almost 4 seasons.

It could be your players, tactics, orders, formation, whatever. Buy a new striker and see. IF still no luck, change formation and see. Dont be afraid to try something different.

Well i´d say having 4 star quality players of 30 and above r good players for my league, especially as i sed the other teams r alot lower than my players n team quality, most r 2 star quality, maybe 1 or 2 wiv a 3 star, so i shudnt b strugglin against teams like that watever my formation, and i did ask for peoples opinions on tactics n team orders, but no1 has sed wat they prefer 2 use, so im none the wiser on that, and i just watched 1 of my friends play, hes level 3, plays a 4-4-2, played a similar quality side who played a 3-2-1-3-1 formation, my m8 won 6-2 16 shots all on target, maybe that is a totaly ****e formation 2 play against a 4-4-2 but hey 16 shots all on target, id love 2 get halve of that, and im far better than my m8, see wat tomorrow brings, away to 3rd from bottom, who won 4-1 away from home 2day 2 a team that were 5th, its a funny old game.

I'd tryed a 4-4-2 against a 3-2-1-3-1. the game ended 1:1.
possesion: 44:56 (for me)
shots on goal: 6:4 (for him)
so it didn't realy work ...
anyway. better luck next time
