With the academy you have to be lucky I think. The most profit is a 80% player (14 tokens yes), a season just started, a position you need and green packs. With work, you will have a great player in a few days.

i can accept perhaps the odd one but that's once in a blue moon lol. i'd snap their hand off. from 80% to 120% with around 160 greens. bargain mate

The problem (like your pic) is that they usually have a single position.
A MR (not a MR-AMR), a DL (not a DC-DL) ...

True and no special ability (although only a few of those are worthwhile imo). So 14t for an 80% 18yo is expensive if you are higher level cash rich. You can buy a 18yo player early days of season 70-79% multiposition maybe an sa if lucky for less than 5t and often only 1t. The academy player is likely to be an effective player and good trainer tho. Just need plenty of greens to feed them to add positions and increase skills.

yes, the 14 token player is guarantee fast trainer and you save some money too.
If you get him in the first 1-3 days of the season it's ok.
If it's after a week, you can find cheaper in the market (except LV1).

No, it's not. Players always come only three times weaker than current ones. For example, center mid speed 50, passing 60. My weakest midfielder is speed 120 and passes 140. The young is dismissed.
