Desert Rats FC have done a bit of upgrading, three players out (Sarr, Fallon, Oldroyd), 34T on three Transfer Market replacements, plus a 79T Daily Recommendation player...

The new players were eased in over the two Legs of the 1st Round of the Cup, but all are in the squad for this afternoon's Champions League Group match.

Second team Holmesdale FC (Level 8) had a tight Cup 1st Round against a side +3%Q and shaded the tie with a 1-0 home win and 1-1 away draw.
With a monster set of League opposition, third team Moon Base 1 FC (Level 6) are concentrating on the Champions League and Cup this season, their 1st Round Cup tie was a relatively easy 8-2 aggregate win over a -18%Q side.
Both the junior teams have concentrated on replacing low-Quality players with cheap (token-wise) high-4* and 5* Transfer Market buys, as their only income is from Daily awards and competition prizes.
My 69 T scout DC is turning out to be angry like Pepe. Got a red card for spitting in a secured match getting a 2 match ban and he also got booked in the first league match lol.
Another season, the same old story.
Champions League.
-12% unmanaged team, 1 level higher than me.
2-2 and I scored a penalty at 86th!
This season will be a nightmare.

gonna be a season full of ups and down, so far I've unexpectedly won 4-1 before unexpectedly losing 3-0 to the same team, thankfully that saw me through on away goals, I think the 2nd result was my fault for not preparing the best, was at work and the players started unfit and I made 3 subs at half time because of that but that weakened the team etc basically I didn't have time to watch or prepare properly, anyway, 1st league game was an amazing 6-1 win, and then a 1-0 loss in the champions league against a +1 level higher than me teamQuote:

Is it possible for the game system, software algorithms and so on to be impossible to beat the same team?
I say this because last season I faced the team in question in Cup and he won me both in the first leg and in the return (and at that time we were equal team) and it turns out that today he played against the same team also in Copa, this season, and he has won me again (and this time with an average difference of quality superior to yours).

Anyone else feel like there is a programmed pattern to each season? Not sure if it's my imagine or a myth but;
1st week of season always seems to see more random results. More injuries. More cards.
Middle weekend of season seems random/troll results.
Cup final day random/troll. Cl final not so much so.
Cup and cl sfs more cards.
When I see cards and injuries appear to be triggered when people enter or exit a match it makes you question how cynical the programming really is.

Yes, but the random results usually don't come this early in the season in my experience. It's normally the 4th match of the CL group and around 2nd weekend in the league. I think nordeus wants close league races in hopes someone spends some money to try and win it.Quote:

After 2 draws and a win in a league that qualtiy-wise I should be crushing, I've decided to tank out the rest of the league season with my 2nd team.
9 of my first team have 2 years remaining on their contracts so tanking this season makes sense to go for a good draw 2 months from now with a lot of finely-tuned out of contract players. My squad isn't performing in CL matches as well so I need some time to figure out where I am deficient in my planning and game tactics.
Not a good start of the season.
In last seasons my tactic and orders were fine, now it seems that they do not go well.
Every match is a war, weaker teams, even abandoned, put me in difficulty, despite bonus possession of 15%.
My players missing many occasions in every matches.
Bah.
