Until they fix the glitch, you can conceivably get away with one GK. Of course if you have more than one game a day, and the GK is injured in the first game, you better have red packs or you are pooched.

All that to say, it is better to have a backup.

You can have 22 players in your roster. Its not hard to take 2 of those places for GKs.

My keeper got injured today, I nearly had a panic attack, as I selected to replace him with his backup, my connection went dead, score was 2-1 in my favor at the time, god knows I was going bananas lol, by the time I was able to replace my injured keeper, 20 game minutes had gone by, very lucky for me he had 0 shots during that chaos LOL, YES HAVE A BACKUP GK!!!

And all the times I was, in those days, without a GK on the bench.

Don't know if it's a coincidence but now I always keep a GK on the bech.
A good one if I still have to play two matches per day, otherwise a crappy one

Hmmm, didnt think of that. a crappy GK that I will almost never use, to bring down my avg.

That would be an illegal formation.

Presumably an injury during a game results in a stats reduction for that player, if there's any logic to the game code.

It wouldnt be an illegal formation, merely a player not playing in his natural position
