Stupid question about retirement age

I cant believe people still have old players on their list ,turn 23 at my club and your gone no matter how good you have been. I just dont have the greens to spend getting an "old man" up to the level needed.

That is one of the main problems of the game there is no emotional attachment to have with your team. They are just mercrnaries that play for 2 or 3 seasons. Keep in mind that our legends hav been in our teams since before training, friendlies and tanking took a hit.

I agree with you ,to me this is THE major drawback to this game. I would love to keep guys for long 10 -15 year careers and get really attached to them but economics are telling me I cant afford that level of sentimentality. I have a few players who I have put a lot of time into and have been ,and still are ,superb players for the team but realistically have this and one more season in them before the economics of the game force me to make a decision on them at the end of their fifth season. I may decide to keep 1 of them at first team level just to see what the cost is to keep them at that level. The others will fall back into the reserves team for a season or two but realistically will not play first team ever again ,at least not for me. If nego's was a viable thing I might try to maintain them at a level someone else might want but nego's isnt viable anymore.

Just in case anyone from Nordeus happens to read this , seriously this game would be so much better and retain more managers for longer and maybe they would spend some cash on your game if only you allowed them to keep players viable for longer.

Did you sell during the last week of the season or is there a way to know who they go to using the normal auction tool?

I was offered tokens for both in the last week yes. That’s why I friended the buyer.
You cannot know which hole they disappear into when sold through auctions.

Sometimes those older players just keep on producing and getting MOTM awards most games which helps with percentage towards skills. I do not necessarily pour endless Greens into them, as there is no need.
