GTFO Craig, you're not in a position to throw 'shameless' or sarky 'classy' insults at me

The guy has made two identical posts essentially trying to advertise to people to quit the game. And why? Because he spent some money and didn't sweep all before him. My heart bleeds

I was harsh because if he wanted to complain, then his first post did so. If someone starts to spam the forum board with the same comments, they'll get my short shrift

The guy doesn't know what he's doing.

Oh and by the way, being 'honest about how you feel' and 'the truth' are often different things, and ultimately only one matters. We live in a world where it seems to be enough to say 'because that's how I feel' - you can't deny how someone feels, but it doesn't make them right to feel that way

I'm not having a go or anything but if he put as much effort into understanding how the game works as he did with this post, he'd probably have more success.

I'm new to this and I've bought a small amount of tokens so I don't know if I count as 'token buying scum'

But reading up on a ton of posts before I signed up and having a 'sly perv' on higher level managers' teams, there are people out there who dominate without spending a penny on tokens.

Besides, if you have an iPhone and have tapjoy you can get tons for just downloading and then deleting free apps, hell I got around 50 for signing up to a dating website (making a silly fake account obviously).

I've had my fair share of silly results, losing to an inferior team by far when I was using an accepted counter formation, but I think Simon is right in a way that this guy is trying to put off players from thinking they can play the game without spending money.

My advice to the chap complaining, look around for bargains, I got 250 tokens for just £3 by signing up to the go daddy advert, whereas I would have had to pay around £15 for the equivalent amount of tokens from the shop.

And I thought the £20 I spent since joining was a lot. :O

I can't speak for the rest of the forum but I have nothing against token buyers/scouters. It's upto the individual if they want to spend real money on a game. This guy isn't the first token buyer to complain about losing.

I literally had to set up a guys team and drum it into him his tactics were rubbish. He had quality of 6-7 stars and had so many tokens, he named them after Newcastle players. Once he listened, he started to win.

Excellent post, btw. Very useful and good advice.

Mate, just because a guy puts a post TEN times all over the board doesnt mean you can lower yourself and tell him to sling his hooks in a less classy way. Seriously, he wants people to know his experience and feelings on the matter and he has every right to. If you want to flame someone, you open yourself up to the same thing while lowering your standards.

As this is a forum where people have the freedom to express whatever they want, within reason of course, you also have the right to do so, but dude, that was a bit low.

A nice, simple post of the vent thread would of fitting.

I don't think he's ever going to see his post so no harm done.

1st, my tactics were not rubbish, just not fit for this game. Even Jupp Heynckes cant do anything about this game
I proved myself in real football managerment and more realistic game "Football manager 2007-2013"

2nd,I kept winning before your advice, I complain about the game cos it always let me lose some strange games or important games to some weaker teams, tacticly said,I have nothing to do about it. You can look to my trophy room

3rd, I still lose games, important one/vs weaker team,11 on 9, I dont complain more cos I stop buying tokens. I feel released from t11, so Win Or lose means less to me now. I have changed back to play my Football Manager 2013 or any other online games I can get real outcome from what I have spend not T11 the virture casino

4th, I dont feel comfortable about the money I spend on this game has one more reason

This team never changed Tactics, rarely watch games, even no subsititution in most games
SO,WHAT'S THE POINT TO SPEND MORE THAN 20 DOLLARS A SEASON AND TIME ON THIS GAME?!
when you spend more, you expect more return, thats normal
you wont spend 100k on mecedez E class to finally get a worse car than Honda Jazz

5th, I lost important game to him/her,made my league champion.... unsecure.
