What a result for Troll City this evening, faced a tough away game vs a scout buyer in the CL last 16, 53.5 vs 48.3 and Troll City won the game 4-0. (Won 5-2 on agg.) Anything is possible with this game with this game engine, this is why its fun a lot of the times playing. 4-5-1 flat BEATS the 4-3-2-1 Xmas Tree.

hmm strange against christmas tree id prefer a 3w-2DMC defense... but then youve got the problem how to dominate the remaining midfield. I had something like 2MC-AML/AMR-ST against a modified christmas tree with DMC instead of MC.

Yeah I believe the effiel tower is another possible option with the 3W-2DMC... but the 5 flat seemed to stop the supply to the attacking players on that particular formation, of course team orders play a part too. Had defensive + counter.

    scored after 3min

    edit:
lol, after halftime (and after my 2-0) he changes his 4-1-2-1-2 to a 3-1-2-1-3, without any wing players

congrats... but it would be embarrassing to go out in last 16 anyway, the tough games are to come in quarterfinals and semifinals. Winning the quarterfinal is the most important part of CL for me, its actually more cash than going into the final because semis are two legs.

He was an equal opponent with 36.8 vs my 36.2, so I am quite happy with 2-0 and 2-0

Next round should also be doable vs his 31.1

But Semis will be hard vs the guy who won my league last season and is currently 2nd and one place ahead of me this season. He is currently at 39.4, but constantly improving. Just played him today in league, managed to get a 1-1 away. 1-1 away and won 2-1 at home, would be a nice result for the possible CL match

League, round 15 - Perfect Tactics 10-0 Elijah FC
    Perfect Tactics: 56.5, 4-5-1 v
    Elijah FC: 32.6, 4-2-2-2 hexagon

Emre FC drew 1-1 earlier so it was just a matter of us winning to put us 8 points clear and we did it in style. A score which ended in double figures for the 1st time this season. Yet another hat trick for Petersen today and he has scored 8 in one day which is an incredible achievement. He got his first from a free kick making it 1-0 early in the game. 5 minutes later we got a second through Nascimento. We were running riot and Petersen added a goal from Pistov's pass following the counter. Our opponents looked tired and couldn't cope with our attackers and a free kick brought a save from Elijah FC's goalkeeper and the corner resulting in a goal for Van der Zande. Two quick goals from Hardy and Petersen from long range strikes gave us a 6-0 lead at half time and a hat trick for Petersen. We most certainly did quieten down in the 2nd half but Pistov did get his goal from a 1 vs 1 position. Poncet set up Silly for 8-0 and those 2 are being quiet a decent partnership in centre midfield lately. Suarez scored as a substitute, making it 9-0 following a corner. Petersen got injured but a last minute goal from Warmwater gave us our biggest win of the season and we go 8 points clear.

    Goals: Petersen (9', 28', 43' HAT), Nascimento (14'), Van der Zande (32'), Hardy (41'), Pistov (48'), Silly (59'), Suarez (75'), Warmwater (89')
    MOTM: Pistov

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LAST 16, 2ND LEG

    July Fourth 6-1 FC Seti

July Fourth win 12-2 on aggregate
    July Fourth 112.2 3N-4-1-2 until 70th minute the 3N-4-3 - FC Seti 106.1 4-4-2 Classic

A dead rubber second leg turned out to be a bit of fun for us in the end after we repeated what occured in the first leg and that was another 6-1 win against our opponents who basically didn't gave a damn by also selecting a reserve team and fielded their reserve GK in defence lol... can't blame them in all honesty so they can get on with the league since they were going out the CL. We quickly raced into a 2-0 lead in the first 16 minutes through O'Sullivan and Zidane before Seti scored through Eliyahu, Zidane laid one for Jurc to score just before HT, then the second half was continous July Fourth pressure and we got goals through Crawford, O'Sullivan picking a brace and MOTM and then a late Papaleo penalty after we brought off Miku for the striker.

    Goals: O'Sullivan (9,78) Zidane (16) Eliyahu (36) Jurc (40) Crawford (65) Papaleo (88 PEN)

Other news: Our expected Semi-Finalists BESIKTAS were eliminated by away goals by JONCLAB who are 11th in OUR league and we already have beaten them 3-0 earlier in the season but if we make the Semi-Final we should expect to play against FC Esenyurtspor who won their last 16 tie 6-1 on aggregate. We now wait to find out who our next opponent is in the quarter-final as Galatasaray SK and Equimetal SAD drew 0-0 in the 1st leg, LIVERPOON are in the last 8 as expected and will play against crvena zvezda, Sami FC must overcome a 2-0 deficit to reach the last 8 against veritas at home in a few moments time and who makes it through in that tie will play against chonburi kfc.

We were prepared to the numerous trolls awaiting us expecially in League since we still hold the "perfect season" in our hands. As we thought, we were AGAIN severely attacked by the game engine and AGAIN it was just a matter of luck and good choiches that put us out of troubles. Merit is to be given, this time, to the coach for massively changing the flow of the game.

    But first thing first:

    Yesterday's Match, comparisons:

    Today's Match, comparisons:

Don't be fooled by the result, as we were seriously losing it for good. Going into specifics:

Surely with his Q32 he is on chart the strongest league competitor, but after the 1-8 in the first leg he didn't improve at all. So against his 3-1-3W-1-2 we opposed a 3-1-4-2 which would have outplayed him at midfield and, same time, disable his dmc while our STs would eventually have easy time against his 3* defenders. We couldn't be more wrong. We started with a field supremacy that didn't produce anything good, if not that at the first action towards our goal a shoot from HALF field got in taking us for the second consecutive time down in the first half. A defence who took 2 goals in twenty matches, suddenly takes 2 goals in the last two days. Despite that, we kept attacking but as yesterday, all our shoots were "wide". Until minute 30 when coach Mad decided to go all out resuming the 4-1-2-1-2 taking out Stein(ML) for Bergera (DL). We didn't see anything between the sub and the message telling us that Bergera got injured (2 mins after the sub), leaving ofc us with no DL and forcing coach Mad to get Fubuki Shirou in (DR) and play OOR Yuma (DC). In the second half our opponent tightened the defence moving on 4-1-4-1 and we got Schneider in who massively incided over the turn. But today's saviour was defenetly our Scout J.Romer who at a point blasted a shoot through the keeper giving us finally the equalizer (54'). And when he was called over a Free Kick, his curve was again flawless getting us finally ahead (63'). We kept dominating at this point not without having tedious counters against despite our normal mentality and 4back + DMC, but when again Schneider was fouled on the area's limit despite the non assigned penalty Romer beat again the keeper on free kick, thus leaving us on 1-3 (87'). Becker realized the 1-4 in the last minute which reflected better the real situation on the field today (89').

    Scorers: S.David, J.Romer (3), T.Becker.
    MoM: J.Romer (9), New Team.

    Afterthoughts:

    - J.Romer saved us from engine today. Again, never before a scout we took which wasn't top notch (was Q48) performed so well in a season. 14th goal in 14 matches played for him.

    - CL second Leg in about an hour with a wide lead (0-4) from the first match. I'm pretty sure that engine won't effect in Cups as badly as in League.

-Our perfect serie is still safe (for now) as we sit at +12 points from the second in table. Tomorrow we'll play a super defensive late board's team which shouldn't be a problem.
