LEAGUE ROUND 19
cake. Fc 0-3 July Fourth
cake Fc. 3W-1-2-1-3 ND 98.0 - July Fourth 112.9 3N-4-1-2 1st half, 5-2-1-2 X-Style 2nd half
A simple win here for the majority of the reserves tonight away at bottom side in the league cake, but we had some 1st team members in action, including O'Sullivan who sent in a rocket in the 9th minute to get us into the lead. but cake were well and truly in the game and rest of the first half was rather even, perhaps we messed our tactics up a little. In the second half more of the action happened, Miku gave away a free-kick and it was crossed in and Larsson's header was just off-target but they should of really equalised, we eventually took control of the game, Jurc scored from 25 meters on 64 minutes and Zidane finished the game off with a splended shot that reminded us of what he was like back in the days of L13-15 at when the striker was at his finest. Miku and Papaleo both had a late shot each but failed to hit the target. Jurc had a good game, with a good couple of tackles and clearances playing as a defender in the first half and a goal from centre-midfield in the second half, he played OOP all game and deserved the MOTM.
Goals: O'Sullivan (9) Jurc (64) Zidane (74) MOTM: Jurc.
The reasons for the change of formation at HT was for squad rotation for tonights game and to keep the key players well rested.
DAMN.... Troll City out the Champions League again... lost 4-3 on aggregrate vs Scout Team... missed a good opportunity there lead 2-1 from the first leg and conceded 3 goals in the first half and got a goal back in the second half but needed another to win the tie on away goals and of course... the Semi-Final would of been winnable.
BUT let's not forget tomorrow for Troll City as they have a Royal Rumble Cup Semi-Final to play where they are favourites to progress.
Well yeah... this is my second 'budget' account that I run and a Cup win is probably more likely due to the cup system. Champions League on Troll City's server is just full of SCOUT BUYERS. there was no less than 6 in the same competition as Troll City was and Troll City did knock a scout buyer out in the last 16 but lost against one in the quarter-final.
You know what the worst thing is... having to wait around to just after 10PM for tonight's Champions League 2nd leg when you could of done with an earlier kick-off to get it over and done with, win or lose.
What a bullsh*t game, bullsh*t result with bullsh*t injuries (both out for 5 days)..... Switched formation 3 times, from 3-1-2N-2W-2 > 4-2N-2W-2 and simple 4-4-2... We are through to next stage (semi-finals), but we payed the price.
No fu*king sense PT players anymore when sh*tty team like this has a equal advantage no matter quality or *

Yeah, but the worst part is that they seem to get injured "from nowhere". No contact or foul, they just "drop" dead?! The funny part is that I just healed another MC on the morning and now another two are out... The GS manager didn't attend/watch the game either (but hes team played like Orchard Utd) .. Crap!
Good luck in the return, hopefully you will manage to over turn that 1 - 0 goal deficit. :)
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL 2ND LEG PREVIEW
Equimetal SAD (1) vs July Fourth (0)
Equimetal SAD 106.9 - July Fourth 112.9
July Fourth go into tonights tough second leg with all the work to do to get through to the semi-finals, having been strong favourites to be infront of this tie at this stage but a poor performance resulted in Equimetal SAD taking the 1-0 advantage from a free-kick in a game where July Fourth created nothing, However July Fourth are expected to change tactics rather than rely on the dandelion or slight variations of it BUT nobody knows until minutes before the game how exactly July Fourth will start the game. July Fourth player-manager L.McNamara said that its Equimetal SAD's tie to lose now since home advantage and a goal lead gives them a great chance of winning the tie and also pointed out that its upto Equimetal SAD to either defend the goal lead or go for more goals but either choice can lead to an onslaught from July Fourth. He also believes that if July Fourth score twice it should be enough to take his team through.
Equimetal SAD currently line-up in the same 4-3W-1-2 formation that beat July Fourth on Thursday night and is expected to stick to his winning formula thats seen them overcome a tough group, then a tough last 16 and also the first leg of the quarter-final. July Fourth though have worked hard in a extra session of training that have seen a number of key players develop for tonights game as July Fourth will want to give themselves the best chance of winning tonight.
Match Odds: Equimetal SAD 5/2, Draw 9/4, July Fourth 5/4
To Qualify: Equimetal SAD 4/7, July Fourth 11/8.
Special: DOUBLE-UP, Any July Fourth player to score a brace and July Fourth to qualify: 7/2.
FRUSTRATION NIGHT: Equimetal SAD to keep a clean sheet: 7/2.
AWAY GOALS COUNT: July Fourth to win the tie on the away goals rule 8/1.
The winner will play JONCLAB in which the winners of this match will have the away leg first.
Breaking News - Board Meeting
http://i42.tinypic.com/30uy35e.png
July Fourth's board and management have had a meeting on "what happens if we go out of the CL"... It's quite simple really, for the remainder of the season, we will play lots of friendlies each day after our league game has been played to farm as many boosters as possible, mainly reds and in doing so any important players that do get injured will stay injured until day 3 of the new season since we don't regard the Royal Rumble preliminaries as important due to our slim chances of any success in that competition, we see it now as "If we get through, we get through and if we go out, we go out" but we don't try to aim to win the competition because of its extremely tough draws we keep receiving from it. The reason why we decided to stock up on red boosters if we go out the Champions League is because its expensive to buy with tokens and we need as many as possible for next seasons training programme and also we are so far ahead in the league that its no considered a done deal by everyone in our league, we only need 3 more wins effectively. Another thing were not too concerned about remaining unbeaten since that would only go down as a 'stat' more than anything else since we have already achieved an unbeaten league season 6 times previously in the clubs history (season 4,5,6,10,14 & 15).
Result just in...
Xa Doan FC 3-2 izzraildahlan FC
Izzraildahlan win on away goals, aggregate score 4-4.
What a game... This game went to extra time with the score 2-1 at full time. Izzraildahlan made it 2-2 but Xa Doan instantly got back in front for 3-2.. However Izzraildahlan held on to go through on away goals.
This is great news for Perfect Tactics as Xa Doan was our main threat in the CL and he gets knocked out!!
Haha! Close, but not close enough! :p .... But you did well with Troll City in the CL competition this season, you already eliminated a T-buyer in the final-eight and had another on the sight in the Q-final. It wouldn't be "fair" against the T-buyers, if Troll City managed to get trough.... Just imagine if it would happen to us, we would be pissed like sh*t
But I think you would manage fine with Troll City in the CL or CUP, if you just decided to put more effort into it. Are TC on the new or "old" server?
THIS IS IT... JUDGEMENT DAY... MOMENT OF TRUTH...
Our Champions League Quarter-Final 2nd leg is here... It's either do or die for July Fourth. The question is... are we good enough to turn it around?
The starting line-up and formation is all set and we are ready to go.
lost CL 0-2 away but won 3-2 on aggregate. got 4!!! yellows, so 3 players will be suspended in the first semi, one of them my 6* mc. well, my team reached its goals for this season (cl semi, qualification for next cl) so from now on everything else is gravy, even though not winning the league would be a shame now.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL 2ND LEG
Equimetal SAD 0-3 July Fourth
July Fourth Win 3-1 On Aggregate
Equimetal SAD 106.9 4-3W-1-2 - July Fourth 112.9 4-5-1 V-Style
This is got to be July Fourth's best performance this season and when we needed it too... Our opponents brought their power support for the second leg but this didn't stop July Fourth receiving the same amount of possession in the first leg, but both teams had chances to score but it was July Fourths quality and defensive play as well as taking their chances this time around. July Fourth started the game with strong intent from the word go as they were the team needed to score to get back in the tie... Michu threatened early but the defence stood firm but it was until O'Sullivans run in the clear on 19 minutes after he setup McNamara to fire us level on aggregate. Ivor Hardy had a couple of chances to put us ahead from a free-kick twice but once put it over and once hit the wall. Emenike and Lampard tried to play it past our defence late on for Equimetal but Aued and Adams stood firm. We were happy to be level at half-time and you could sense this was slowly turning back our way.
The second half saw both sides create an early chance with Norris shot blocked for July Fourth and Fernandes pass cut out by Adams, Next Mensah created an opening for Michu and he put it wide... Then Mensah's leg gave way and we had to put on Kareski, that was our only substitution of the night. Kareski almost scored for us with his first touch but his shot was turned over the bar by the keeper for a corner... Michu crossed in... The referee blew the whistle... Deliberate handball!!! Wes Sneijder Sent-Off!!! Penalty to July Fourth!!!.... BIG PROBLEM??? Papaleo is on the bench and can't take it BUT Michu is too good and smashes us up and that was a killer goal from the home team because all of a sudden they need to score twice with 10 men. Equimetal threw the kitchen sink at us now, they were the better team once again despite being down to 10 men and they were winning corners and free-kicks all of a sudden but every time they created something, it was Aued or Adams that cleared it, The came close to scoring on 83 minutes when Smetanin's cross found Emenike but a crucial challenge from Aued saw off the danger, Then a minute later a Kareski pass then found Hogan who hit it into the roof of the net and July Fourth were celebrating a great victory!!!
Goals: L.McNamara (19) Michu (58 PEN) Hogan (84) MOTM: Aued.
S/O: Sneijder (58)
Injury Report: Mensah OUT for 4 days... we can live with that. Plus Kareski did a great job in cover.
Suspension News: Norris is OUT for the first leg of the semi-final since he picked up a second yellow card this eveing.
Other results: Well we weren't the only one's to turn it around in our quarter-final draw as 2 other teams also turned it around. LIVERPOON FT won 4-2 against crvena zvezda (4-3 on agg), veritas won 3-0 against chonburi kfc after losing the first leg 2-0 (3-2 on agg), Only JONCLAB held onto their 3-0 first leg lead by drawing 3-3 this evening (6-3 on agg).
This means the semi-finals are:
JONCLAB vs July Fourth
veritas vs LIVERPOON FT
All of a sudden it's now very likely we are going to get that July Fourth vs LIVERPOON FT final as predicted at the start of the competition. It also means that July Fourth would now play JONCLAB 4 times this season as JONCLAB play in our league, Yesterday July Fourth beat JONCLAB 5-0 at home and 2 weeks ago July Fourth beat JONCLAB 6-0 in the away fixture. JONCLAB must already be fearing the worst, but this is the Champions League and everything starts from 0-0 again.
Since July Fourth won this quarter-final well in the end, The board seem a bit silly for the meeting over if we went out, but we are professional in what we do and everything possible MUST be considered.
With this performance, the pundits now must be assessing if the young July Fourth AMC Hatsune Miku is rather over-rated.

Scorers: O.Hutton (2), J.Romer, K.H.Schneider, T.Becker.
MoM: J.Romer (8), New Team.
*New Team reaches Semi-Finals on 11-0 aggregate.
Two quite easy wins for us toda which further closes League on a side, and replays the dominance showed in first Leg on the other one. We are going to face FC Norkoping in the semi-finals (Q44.3) which spared 2 yellow carded players in tonight's second leg almost going out and managing just a draw 1-1 home against a much weaker team which in both legs overplayed them giving us good hints for our upcoming match.
On the other side, Catalunya FC passed the turn not without troubles managing a 2-1 home here too vs a much weaker counterpart. Again like first leg, they were overplayed both in possession and shoots. He'll face a quite decent team in the semis (Q38) which might pose him some problems.
Balkan Boyz - Matchday 21 (Sz.5 - lvl5)
http://i47.tinypic.com/2vnfdpv.png
HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz through to CL semi-finals after a 6 - 4 aggregate win over Galatasaray AŞ
CL: Galatasaray AŞ (Q35,3) Formation: 4-4.2 >> 2 - 2 (AGG: 4-6) << Balkan Boyz (Q50,5) Formation: 3-1-2N-2W-2/3W-3N-2W-2
SCORERS: I.Olić (1min), B.Yilmaz (22min.ass:C.Castro), M.Salem (50min), E.Džeko (58min)
SUBS: M.Kovačić < > N.Tomović E.Džeko < > M. Mandžukić H.Salihamidžić< > L.Modrić
MOTM: Senad Lulić (Rate:8)
Balkan Boyz qualified for the Champions League semi-finals on Saturday after playing Galatasaray AŞ to a 2 - 2 draw in the quarter-final second leg at "Galatasaray AŞ Stadium". The Balkan Boyz started the game brightly in search of an early goal and got it after the shadowstriker Ivica Olić surprised the Galatasaray AŞ defenders and GK Zafer Kurt with a shot from long distance in the 1th opening minute. But Galatasaray AŞ didn't seem to fall back, instead they attacked bravely and managed to put pressure on the Balkan Boyz defence who faced nervous moments due to Galatasaray's quick counter-attacks. Something that payed off in the 22nd minute as Burak Yilmaz equalized to 1 - 1 after a assist by Christian Arturo Castro just before the end of the first half. As the 2nd half began, Balkan Boyz made a defensive substition as Mateo Kovačić was subbed off for Nenad Tomović. But the substitution didn't seem to give any effect, since Mohammad Salem was left unmarked in front of goal to score the 2 - 1 goal for Galatasaray AŞ. Edin Džeko equalized for the Balkan Boyz side in the 58th minute before getting injured 7 minutes later and was subbed off for Mario Mandžukić. Just as Mandžukić entered the pitch in the 73th mintute, the MC Safet Sušić got a nasty injury as well but was left on the pitch since Manager -Ljepoje- already made 3 substitutions. The Balkan Boyz was therefore left 10 man against 11 the last quarter and seemed to just pass the ball around the field to keep the possesion, without making any attempts forward. As the game came to an end, it was obvious that The Balkan Boyz had qualified to the semi-finals as Galatasaray AŞ failed to over turn the 4 goal deficit from the 1th leg. The Balkan Boyz will face "LS 11" in the quarter-finals.
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Swiss team "Colchoneros CF" with 0 - 4 after goals by Hasan Salihamidžić (x2), Mateo Kovačić (x1) and Mario Mandžukić (x1). A game in which Hasan Salihamidžić was declared as MoM (rate:9). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 51 points and are 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (49points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (46points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place on 35points. Balkan Boyz will play the English team "Scally United FC" tomorrow at home. The kickoff is set at 14:45CET. Later on that evening, Balkan Boyz will play the 1th leg in the T11 CUP semi-finals against FC Köln. The kickoff is set at 23:20CET
Over&Out!
BEARS FC 1-0 Inter Lautern
the young side of BEARS FC is marching on beating the strongest and more experienced side in CL in the quarter final .... the game delivered what it has promised .. after the disappointing losing 1-2 away, Bears FC come stronger dominating the next game with 66% possession and winning 1-0 .. the opposite manager tried his best to change the formation many times during the game, but BEARS FC manager countered every single alteration he did with success and knocked out Inter off the competition.. proving that you can win the kids .. Alan Hansen are you listening? :D

I made it through the CL 1/2 finals and confirmed my advance in the League.
First game of the day, my 1/4 final, I finally won 8-2 on aggregate, won 4-2 the first game, away, after the player was leading by 2-0 I wondered what to do, so I played very offensively, took off my DMC from the field, and managed a 4-3-3 with side midfielders. I got booked 4 times (including one penalty given), so I did reduce the tackling to light (until now anyway, no reason to change honestly).
The 2nd leg of today was a massacre, I guess I found TEH solution, he was playing :
DL DC DC DR
ML MC MC MC MR
ST
... so I have chosen to adapt my tactic on "very defensive" with this line up :
DR DC DC DC DL
ML MC MC MR
ST
... mixed passing, long balls, counter attack on. Result : 4-0, I was very happy despite I was confident anyway as I played home, and he had to win by minimum 3-0. The CL games were crazy today, ALL the best teams have gone from the competition. I hope I am not going to be the next one ^^'
Next, League game, not really interesting, I kept my CL configuration but wasn't able to score, so I adapted my usual tactic, and scored 3-0. I am now 11pts ahead of my first opponent.
Happy day \o/
Yeah, I think even before I decided to ask you for any sort of opinion on the game after the disappointing first leg, I was always going to start the game 4-5-1 V, because its a formation that's worked well for me few times in the past, especially in finals. I think 3 of the past 5 finals I won, I played with the 4-5-1 V. My problem comes when I have to think about dropping Miku and of course Miku is our star player being 9*127 quality, there is times to use Miku and Miku comes alive and there is times when Miku is just an ordinary player, but our 8* players tonight certainly moved up a gear since the first leg, O'Sullivan was moving more sharply and Hogan and Ramirez were organising the defence well and also getting forward as in the case with Hogan's goal tonight and Michu was a nuisence for the opposition to deal with tonight and took the penalty well in Papaleo's absence, sometimes your best players need a games rest to revitalise.
Saturday. Day 21.
LEAGUE: Match 19. LALAS FC (66.8) v LONDON CITY (74.2)
Result: LALAS 0-4 LONDON
Goals: Webo 2, Yashin 54, Baker 65, Zola 71
M.o.M: Adam Zola
City rediscovered some of their form today against the 7th placed team. Adam Zola supplied the pass for Pierre Webo to give us a dream start. It remained at 1-0 until after the break, and then Zola took complete command of the game. First he set up Oleg Yashin to double our lead, and then shortly after, he again passed to Dylan Baker to add our third (his first goal after 17 appearances from attacking midfield). Then Baker turned provider to give Zola the chance to score our fourth, and to rightly get the man of the match award, for 1 goal and 3 assists. We did however lose Pierre Webo to injury before halftime.
OTHER LEAGUE RESULTS:
Danis 1-5 Jeleznik, Alcudia 4-1 Shileno, Yakuza 3-0 Kukula, Real 1-1 Legends, Phetchana 1-2 Minh, Tongfang 0-4 Olympiakos.
CHAMPS LEAGUE. Quarter-Final 2nd Leg. LONDON CITY (74.2) v EVAIR FC (71.2)
Result: LONDON 1-0 EVAIR (aggregate 2-1)
Goals: Andersson 54
M.o.M: Stig Andersson
We just about struggled through this CL match against a tough Brazilian outfit. Stig Andersson's firmly struck free-kick midway in the second half, was the goal that separated the teams by the end of the tie. There is not much more to say about the game, other than we picked up two more injuries during the game, for Terry Duggan and Oleg Yashin. That made three for the day, and we now have only one fit striker.
TEAM TALK.
With today's three injuries we have only one striker for the next couple of days, so continual substitute, Bjorn Lanwer may get a start as a makeshift striker tomorrow when we play at home to lowly Danis.
At the 3/4 mark of the season, we are currently 2nd and two points behind Pto Alcudia.

Maybe he just wants to win things. But if your not competing alongside some fellow rivals, the game can get boring sometimes, I sometimes try to make certain mythical rivals with some teams in game. I have 2 teams I consider rivals that I know that are still on my level, they are Batigo United and Unbeatable FC based on events on whats happened in the games we played in the past BUT they are not friended clubs in anyway. I suppose Equimetal SAD could be the 'next' sort of rival on that list after these 2 teams. I had a respect for a manager in my game with a team called Fc RonnyBonny but he missed promotion last season.
I've sometimes thought about "unfriending" Alcudia, as I always struggle against him, but he seems to be a good friend in the game. He's always one of the first to send gifts, and he quite often cheers for me when I'm playing, so don't know what to do. I missed not playing him last season when we got split up.
What formations do Alcudia normally play? Maybe he often counters your 4-4-2. I know your not really a believer in counter formations but thats a possibility too. I think as far as countering goes, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, just like a game of rock paper scissors. You never know, the game may split you up again.
Post-Match: AEPRE FC VS Hercules FC (Brazilian Team)
Type: League
Kick-off: 12:00 GMT+7
Spectators: 3000
Referee: Chris Foil
Today AEPRE FC is welcoming a team that managed to upset many top-tiered teams, as the new Estadio Aboulle's 3,000 seats is all taken. Exactly on this matchday last season we managed to end a Brazilian team's unbeaten run, now we are going to be beaten.
On the 10th minute Ashley Cole commits a foul, the referee doesn't book him as Hercules' keyman Karl Thomas is injured, the Aboulle is full of crowd cheerings after that.
However, the free kick is awarded to Hercules, as Marcin Niedzelski manage to pick his spot, and AEPRE FC is 1-0 down.
Later then, Niedzelski again comes up with another clean 1-on-1 run, before scoring in the 20th minute. 2-0 to Hercules FC.
On the 44th minute, Demba Ba finally comes up with a goal from defensive mistake by Hercules FC that results in a counter-attack break.
Final score: 1-2
A 0-9 away in the League confirms our form. With a lil training incoming, no further matches are scheduled until tomorrow's ones.
