League, round 6 - milan 0-7 Perfect Tactics
    milan: 40.8, illegal formation
    Perfect Tactics: 56.5, 3-2-2-2-1 butterfly (60' 4-2-2-2 hex)

Yet another huge win for us here against an illegal formation. Pistov opened the scoring and then set up Petersen for 2-0. Nascimento grabbed 2 quick goals before half time and then there was a period of no goals so I changed formation a bit. We were instantly rewarded with 3 goals and two were from the substitute Mata. Petersen added a second goal to his tally from a free kick and we go 6 points clear at the top of the league for the time being.

    Goals: Pistov (14'), Petersen (17', 79'), Nascimento (40', 42'), Mata (72', 77')
    MOTM: Petersen

We now have a cup match in 15 minutes.

    LEAGUE ROUND 6

    July Fourth 3-0 cake. Fc

    July Fourth 111.7 4-1-2-1-2 ND, First 35 mins, 3N-4-1-2 - cake 96.9 3W-2N-2N-0-3

July Fourth struggled to beat bottom team cake in this match, but at least it wasn't as bad as the bournemoth game earlier in the same where bournemouth had all the chances, this was a case of July Fourth missing plenty of chances in this game, after early misses from Michu, Papaleo and Miku and then the strange opponents formation handling the narrow diamond quite well, seems like had success with that formation against the narrow diamond, so on 40 minutes I decided to switch play around a bit by adding wingers and playing Petersen OOP at the left, Papaleo responded immediately to give us the lead just before half time with a well timed run and strike to beat the keeper, We suffed YET ANOTHER INJURY this time to hogan on 52 minutes meaning we were forced to used final substitute Aued an appearance at the back, this caused more nerves as the game was not done yet and also a couple of corners were needed to be defended at the back by Ramirez, eventually we killed the game off with a Michu brace towards the end of the game firstly with a great solo run and powered it past the keeper and a cross from Papaleo to connect with it goalwards to send it past the keeper to finish it.

Goals: Papaleo (40) Michu (74,89) MOTM: Papaleo.

We now sit back and wait for the Takis vs Mehmet score this evening, July Fourth will be hoping for a DRAW. For the first time this season we are at the top of the league.

Injury News: Hogan OUT for 4 days. Think 12 reds after DM is going to be needed here. We have a few tricky games in the league in the up and coming 3 days. Another harsh blow, but when you seem to get lots of injuries on this game you get LOTS of injuries and it tends not to go away.

Week summary due to my busy scheduele this week:

    Cup:

Out from the competition from the 2nd round , we met a 15 level team and we have to wait for the next year to aim for the cup trophy

    League:

After a weak start in the first game with a draw in the first day, we managed to win the next 5 games with top teams from our league and we are on the first place with a 3 points advantage

    Champions:

Updates from my end. The last update was from the 1-1 cup game with Manchatterunitet.

    Friday

Rhondda Rovers had an league game away to FC Katowice who, while being the closest to us quality wise, they play an illegal formation. Thankfully, they kept the same formation and gave us 80% possession. Due to this, Rhondda Rovers won 3-0 courtesy of Arianto (35), Ebeye (57) and Gussago (82). Unfortunately, Rhondda Rovers lost Steigelmann in the 39th minute to injury and has had a 3 day layoff (I don't know if the injury helped or not, but he was rated 4 this time). He will be back tomorrow.

    Yesterday

Yesterday saw a potential tricky away game in the CL to FC Rapid, while our league game kicked off an hour later at home against Statemaraq FC.

The quality difference was a decent gap (Q5 in my favour), but not to the point where a win was expected. Well, the end result was quite unexpected as Rhondda Rovers won 4-1, the goals coming from Sutcu (5 & 37), Khutaj (28) and Ha (32). They got a consolation goal in the 71st minute. Nothing else major in this match.

However, the League saw a shock result as Rhondda Rover's backup team were held at home against Statemaraq FC. It looked like business as usually as Sutcu tucked away a 10th minute penalty that saw their Vachev booked. However, their Yahia brought the scores level in the 23rd minute. Subs were made that could not change the game, even with a sending off for Vachev in the 81st minute for a second bookable offence. Arianto had the chance to be a hero after getting one on one with the keeper in the 89th, but he put his shot over the bar. That spelt the end of an at least 30 winning game run in the league.

    Today

Today sees the day that Rhondda Rovers cup run could come to an end against LaBandita FC who, likely many have said on here, are predominantly a scout team (though the quality difference isn't huge. Q2 in their favour). Rhondda Rovers also had an away afternoon kick off against FCB in the League.

Due to the strength of the team in the Cup, Rhondda Rovers used the majority of the backup against FCB in the hope of turning things around following the shock 1-1 draw yesterday. The team responded superbly with a 4-1 victory for Rhondda Rovers, the goals coming via a hat trick from Cutts (15, 48 & 83) and one from Ebeye (45). The consolation coming in the 48th minute for FCB. Nothing much else to report on here.

The cup match away to LaBandita FC will take place at 10.05 this evening (GMT). Expecting a loss tonight.

    That's your update.

Just wanna say hello before I head off - again

League: We managed to beat the 3rd team in the league today, Colchoneros FC with 7 - 0 at home. I wasn't expecting this kind of high result since he managed to beat FC Kula and the 4th team earlier on. Anyway, a win is a win and we improved our goaldifference. Israeli team "Iztik Yan" are 2nd at 15points. Tomorrow we play "Scally Utd" (currently at a 3rd place). This is a team we shouldn't have any problem beating.

CUP: The kickoff is set at 23.00CET and we play at home. I think we could and should be able to win the 1th leg without any difficulties, despite the quality of his team (mix of 5* and 6*). Don't know if he is trying to "scare" me or just don't wanna reveal his formation yet, but he has set up a 4-1-3-2 formation (the same as Hypool used and lost with 7 - 0). Also, he has a MC in the 1th eleven that is suspended (red card).

Also, the Transfermarket has been JACKED with 5* all day long. As you can see there are a couple of youngsters on my list that aren't that bad, but I will probably not take part in any bidding since I already have 4 youngsters on PT.

@Dv8r, srry to hear about the CUP loss. Hopefully you could get back on the saddle and beat him in the return. Just go all in or fight "fire with fire" as I did last season.

So far for me just 3* over the whole week.

Following cup matches and saw my Quwaitian guy winning 6-0 over his 44Q opponent. I guess we performed pretty well against him after all. There are at least other 4-5 teams closing 50-55 Q while William Asset is already out. Alex will see one of hisd teams out this leg as they face each other (50 vs 52 Q, level 4)

LEAGUE ROUND 6... Result Just In...

    Takis FC 0-1 Mehmet FC

    Takis FC 107.3 4-4-2 Classic - Mehmet FC 104.6 4-4-2 Classic

Mehmet FC win the big game of the day in our league in round 6 in one of the top of the table clashes concerning the top 3 teams of the league. After a tense affair that could of seen either side take the 3 points or be a draw in the game, Mehmet got the winner in the 86th minute when Trufaslia beat the last defender with a run to the ball and chip the Takis keeper to win them the game and keep Mehmet at the top of the league with a 6-0-0 record.

Goals: Trufaslia (Mehmet) (86) MOTM: Trufaslia. (Mehmet)

    Table:

    Mehmet 6-0-0 +13 18
    July Fourth 5-1-0 +16 16
    Chelsea 4-0-2 +11 12
    Takis 4-0-2 +7 12

Title Odds: July Fourth 1/4, Mehmet 5/1, Takis 6/1, Others 25/1

Our Reaction to the result: This may not actually be a bad result in context to the title race in the league for us this season, as we considered Takis a bigger threat to our title chances than Mehmet with us in the believe that Takis have learned the art of power training with the spare green boosters they may get. Mehmet will still have to work hard all season if they are going to stop us winning the title. Takis are now 6 points behind leaders Mehmet and 4 points behind favourites July Fourth. Another bad result from Takis may just leave them too much work to do to stay in the title race, but they have a good team and they are expected to remain in the thick of it. We don't expect anyone else to challenge as of yet. Round 9 will be the next important game when Mehmet play at home against July Fourth.

hmm, 0-0 away in Cup, I hope my players will bring their a-game in the 2nd leg. But I'm confident, I was ahead in possession in the away game (he didnt watch), so I should have a nice advantage in the home game. But its never easy, when you need to win.

Hoping for a double digit score in league, as it will be vs an illegal formation (MC as GK)^^ But I think a 2-1 is more realisitc

I hope I can close the gap in scorer/assists table as I'm terrible in both, despite having the best +/- score. I should let my best players play vs all the noob/illegal formation teams I guess^^

Play off cup game for me in a bit, came back from 3-2 down in the first game last round to win the second match 4-1 and come through. Tonight though, the opposition is a team chock full of scouted players - don't think he has one, even on the bench, under 5 stars :/

Ooooh well, I'll give it my best. Only league 2, where most have only 3-4 star players. I do have a strong team, with some 5-6 stars, but this guy obviously spent a fair amount to have all these top players at this level.

I played my cousin's level 5 team last night and was ahead twice! Only to lose it 3-4 in the end. To me that was a good result, since I am 3 levels below him. I train 'em well

Sitting pretty at top of my league with 6 wins, not been tested in the league at all yet.
