I chose him over Jonathan Crawford because of special ability... No need for a corner specialist with Petersen around and a 1vs1 ability is better suited for the lone striker.
I think you made the right choice there. Yeah he is 1 year older than you wanted but he is close to 7* and you should still get 4 seasons out of him still at Perfect Tactics. Also another thing to consider will be... after next season's plans when you go on holiday.
